Pretty in Pink!

Hi there and happy Friday!!!!
Just sharing this little sweetie made with ...
High Hopes Stamps ..
Adrianna found here!
&
Life in Bloom found here!
I first fell in love with pink and black colour combo
back in the '80's
I had an pink and black plaid wool sweater that I wore until it fell apart.   I think this colour combo
is such a feel good duo!

The script black paper was used for the
base of the card.
A hot pink fabric scrap, copic colouring,
Minc foiled die cuts and
a single butterfly too.
The ribbon is a satin fabric ribbon (one of my faves) plus some beaded ribbon, and pink acrylic paint along the edges of the card.
Copic #'s E50,E21,RV10,RV13,RV14,C1,C31C5,C9,B41
There is plenty of time to enter this month's challenge "Think Spring" for a chance to win 2 unmounted High Hopes Stamps of your choice.
Thanks for peeking!

Bunny Blossoms

I've had such fun making spring cards with the latest High Hopes release - they're such sweet images to colour!  I am sharing Bunny Blossoms TT114 coloured in Copic Markers, with Some Bunny Loves You HH055.

After stamping the sentiment, I coloured the border in with coordinating markers used in my image, then fussy cut around the edge, and adhering it with pop dots.  I've used a strip of the pretty Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow papers, and the pink watercolour look background paper is from the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes pack.  The gumdrops are from Your Next Stamp.  Click on my links and you'll find everything in the OCS store - happy stamping!

Live Life

Welcome Back OCS Fans!

I have one last card to share with you from the new Think Spring release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

My card for today features the oh so pretty "Adrianna" and the "Life In Bloom" sentiment. Adrianna looks like she is ready for a prom, wedding or even a birthday party don't you think? The possibilities with this beauty are endless.

This image is also the perfect to practice colouring hair and folds in fabric.....something I need to practice more! but I'm ok with the results on this one.

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I cut it out with a stitched rectangle square and popped it up using some foam dots. Some Bo Bunny paper was the perfect colour palette for this beauty. I had another paper combo picked but well.....let's just say the colours weren't quite right when I was done colouring.

Some Crystal Stickles added to the flower centre and the underskirt for a little bling. Some lacey corner dies, cotton lace ribbon and glittered gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Adrianna (TT113) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Spring Loaded

Happy Wednesday OCS Fans!

I have had a ton of fun playing with all of the images in the High Hopes Think Spring release!

This week I chose to use the "Hedgies Spring Loaded" stamp and the "Spring Is In The Air" sentiment.  These two just make me smile! We all need a little help from our friends once and awhile don't we? I added some freckles and belly buttons to them just for fun.

My card layout is done based on this month's challenge sketch - have you played along yet? I changed a few things to "make it my own" as they say - I added my sentiment to the top corner instead of a banner and the third piece of paper behind the stamp was switched out for a fun die shape.

The stamp was using my Misti and coloured with alcohol markers, cut out using a stitched rectangle die and mounted on patterned paper from Bo Bunny. All of the edges were inked with a matching brown ink. Some matte enamel dots and ribbon finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Hedgies Spring Loaded (TT120) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Spring Is In The Air (HH059) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Hello Sunshine

Thanks for popping by! This week my card features "Willow" and the "Hello Sunshine" sentiment from the Think Spring new release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
To be honest, I have stepped out of my colour comfort zone with this one. This is the first time I am using black for hair colour and black in my card layout. It was fun to push myself out of my creative box with a little help from a super talented crafter and friend Cheri - thank you for the push!

Without further ado, let me introduce you to Willow.

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers  and cut it out with a stitched oval die. Stickles on the dots in her hair, the flower stem and the bottom of her dress gave me the little bit of sparkle I love to include on my cards. A black frame cut with a floral oval was the perfect touch, along with a butterfly banner in matching colours. The sentiment is stamped directly on my patterned paper - love my Misti for this! Some enamel dots finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Willow (TT122) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Hello Sunshine (HH057) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
