Oh Sheep! I Forgot Your Birthday!

Welcome One Crazy Stamper Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and I’m back to share another belated birthday card that I made using She-Baa Sheep (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Dunno Ducky (High Hopes Rubber Stamps). I had a lot of fun pairing these two stamps together.

On the inside of the card, I thought it would be funny to use the Dunno Ducky stamp. I just think he's so adorable and his body language says it all!

All of the sentiments were typed in Microsoft Word and then printed out on my printer. Fonts and sizes are listed below. I fussy cut around the phrases for the front of the card and then popped them up.

I love High Hopes Rubber Stamps, because they have so many stamps that you can play with to create combos like this one.

Card Recipe:

Happy Bird Day!

Hello Everyone! I'm happy to be sharing another fabulous Sunday with you and the fine stamps of High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

This year happens to be a milestone birthday year. Which means, many of my friends are celebrating the same magical number. One of them is going to get a smile on their birthday face when this Birthday Buzzard lands in their mailbox!

The image was paired with the Happy Bird Day sentiment. This sentiment is straight, but has enough spacing that you can chop it up to make it work with the space you have available. Here, I thought it needed a quick hit of color, so I used my distress crayon to give it a matching hue.

Don't forget that the One Crazy Stamper team posts daily inspiration here on the One Crazy Stamper blog, so don't forget to stop by often!

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Spring is here!

Welcome One Crazy Stamper Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and I’m back to share these adorable hedgehogs who are so excited to smell the beautiful spring blossoms growing on the trees. I used Hedgies Spring Loaded (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) to create the scene. I added a little bit more to the tree off to the side.

I thought it would be fun to try colouring this stamp using various watercolour mediums and brushes.

I started off by stamping the image onto Arches Watercolour Paper, 140 lb. Cold Press.

Then I used a mixture of Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Derwent Watercolour pencils and a paint palette.

I created the clouds by using a cotton ball and soaked into a little bit of water and then tapping it onto the paper to lift some of the watercolour. Finally, I used Pigma Micron 02 Archival Ink Pen to outline the flowers and the Hedge Hogs. For the noses, I used a Sakura Glaze - Black pen.

Supplies Used:

Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers: Chocolate, Sepia, TerraCotta

Derwent Watercolour Pencils: Brown Ochre 57, Raw Sienna 58, Copper Beach 61, Vandyke Brown 55

Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Ground Espresso, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry, Krafty Kolours - Totally Taupe Mini Ink Cube

Ai Watercolor Essentials Palette

Background Paper: Recollections - Petite Floral - Double Sided 12 x 12 in (30.4 x 30.4 cm)

MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool

Brushes: Talkon H.I. Series - 970 White - #4, Legacy - Folk Art 1837 Perfect Liner #1, Bette Byrd "Aqua-Sable" 1600 Filbert 1\4

Ribbon: Ribbon Trends - Organdy Ribbon 029 White

Hope you like it and have a fantastic week!

Rolling into Recovery

Happy Sunday!

It's Heather here, back with some more High Hopes Rubber Stamps inspiration.

Did you catch the Get Well Soon new release a few weeks back? So many fantastic new images and sentiments, like this cutie, Injured Bear. Poor Bear, I think he's had a bad week!

I ended up with fewer embellishments on this card. I didn't want to cover up my quilted background! This one in my "to use one day" stash was the perfect color to match my bear's outfit. These backgrounds are fun to make and are a great way to use up paper scraps. Then, just add your image and sentiment and you have a beautiful card!

The sentiment is a new release as well. It's called Speedy Recovery

Check back here, the One Crazy Stamper blog, every day for some brand new inspiration from the Design Team.

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Sunflower Smiles

Happy Sunday!

It's Heather here, back with some more High Hopes Rubber Stamps inspiration.

I saw this image in the inventory and just HAD to have it. Not only does it go with one of my favorite, previously purchased sentiments, Sunshine and Sunflowers, but it's utterly adorable! How can those gorgeous smiling sunflowers not bring a smile to your face??

The image is called Sunflower Smiles. For this card, I made a small, 2" x 5.5" folded card base and then added the sunflower panel hanging off the top. The card is the perfect size for a friendly message and the style of card highlights the gorgeous image.

Wondering what copics I used for my sunflowers? The petals are done with V12, V25, Y38 and YR21, while the flower centres are E79, E47 and E44. The greenery in the scene is YG03, YG06, YG09, G14 and G17 and finally the fence and sign are E23, E35, YR23 and some happy B02!

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
