Happy Sunday Everyone! The weather is beautiful here. Still not a solid warmth, but there's no snow and that's what counts for the first week of April.
In our house, everyone is excited about extended park time, bike riding, sidewalk chalk drawings and the upcoming start to soccer season! My two kids play, while my husband coaches. It creates a busy schedule, with games twice a week.
And so, for this weeks' project I made a cute water bottle topper, using Soccer Star, for some start of season luck!
This was really easy to make. I cut a bookmark size piece of paper (a fishtail flag, but a simple rectangle would work too) and cut a hole big enough to fit over the top of my chosen bottle. Then, I scored just below the circle to create a bend and allow it to drape over the bottle.
The image, Soccer Star, was cut out with my circle dies, the edges distressed and then layered on to a scalloped circle. I then decided to use my bottle top cut out for extra accent on my Play Like a Girl sentiment, and layered them up.
Since this was for my sweet girl, I decided it needed a bit of extra bling!
I hope this brings a smile to my soccer enthusiasts face on the first day. Let's Play!

Happy Easter from Canada!
Hello OCS Fans!
It's Wednesday, and today I'm sharing an Easter card that I made for some very young cousins in the USA using High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
On the front of the card, I used Carrot Patch (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) as my main image. Then printed out the sentiment in Microsoft Word using Georgia Font - Bold, Italic, PS 36. After stamping and colouring the image, I used Inkadoo Stamping Mask Paper and stamped the image again. Then I fussy cut around the mask and placed it over the image to do my clouds using the cloud stencils that I made from Avery Elle - Custom Steel Dies - Made in the USA - D-05-01 PiercedCloudsDie and Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Salty Ocean ink.
Here is a close-up of the Easter Bunny!
On the inside of the card, Peeking Spring Buddies (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Canadian Easter Greetings (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.
All images were stamped onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using Memento - Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool) and then coloured in with Copic Markers.

Cat Doctor Is In!
Welcome One Crazy Stamper Fans!
We have a brand new release for Get Well Wishes from High Hopes Rubber Stamps! Today I'm sharing what I'm calling the Cat Doctor Is In, featuring "Nurse Kitty" (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the image and High Hopes Rubber Stamps - "Get Well Soon Script2".
Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE black cats and so I just had to colour this image in the darker colours! LOL! Coloured the image using Copic markers and then used PrismaColor Premier Black pencil to create the fine fur texture.
The striped background paper was chosen because it reminded me of the Candy Stripers who used to volunteer at all of the hospitals when I was younger. (Dating myself here! LOL!) Hoping this little kitty puts a smile on someone's face and cheers them up!
Card Recipe:
Stamps: High Hopes Rubber Stamps - Nurse Kitty TT173 and sentiment: High Hopes Rubber Stamps - Get Well Soon Script2 GG052

Dragon - Sick Day
Welcome OCS Fans!
It's Wednesday, and so I'm happy to be posting this adorable little dragon to help put a smile on your face! I decided to make an Easel Card this week. The dragon I am using is called "Seymore's Sick Day" by High Hopes Rubber Stamps. It was stamped onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then coloured in with Copic Markers. I then, fussy cut around the entire image.
To do the background behind the dragon, I cut out some Bristol Paper using my Cuttlebug and Lawn Fawn - Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables. Then used Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers to create the ground and shadow beneath the dragon. The clouds were done using Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Salty Ocean and I had created a stencil from Avery Elle - Custom Steel Dies - Pierced Clouds Die. Finally, I ran my little dragon through the Xyron machine and layered it on top of the background that I had created.
Close up of the Dragon:
For the sentiment I used "Tail Not Waggin / Get Well Soon" by High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine - Onyx Black and then embossed with Ranger - Clear Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder.
I completed card by using the Zig Zag dies again to cut out a border around the coloured image and sentiment. Sentiment was popped up with some pop-up squares. Around the background papers, frames and sentiment I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Wilted Violet.
Background Paper, Recollections - Petite Floral - 12 x 12" (30.4 x 30.4 cm) and some flowers from my collection were then used to complete the card.
To make the Easel Card I just took a 5.5" x 12" piece of white cardstock and then scored at 6" and then on one of the 6" portions at 3". This allows the card to lay flat when mailing.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: High Hopes Tail Not Waggin / Get Well Soon K044; High Hopes Seymore's Sick Day T058
Dragon: YG01, YG03, YG13, YG17, Y15, Y17, Y18, V12, V04, V09
Hot Water Bottle: B32, B34, B37
Pill Bottle: E23, E25, C1, C2
Thermometer: C1, C2
Background: Ground: Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers - Terracotta, Sepia, Tan, Moss; Sky: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Salty Ocean
Around card and borders: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Wilted Violet
Background Paper: Recollections - Petite Floral - 12 x 12" (30.4 x 30.4 cm)
Die Cuts: Lawn Fawn - Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables; Avery Elle - Custom Steel Dies - Pierced Clouds
Added Tools: Cuttlebug, MISTI, Xyron, Tape Gun, Glue DOTS, Forever In Time - Pop-Dot Value Pack.

Party Animals
Welcome OCS Fans!
Sharing a fun card featuring: High Hopes - Wild Party and sentiment High Hopes - Birthday Party Animals! I just love these little characters.
I first stamped the sentiment using Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Dusty Concord and then to emboss it I used some Versamark and Ranger - Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder. Using my MISTI, made this very easy to do. I decided to add a little bit of bling as well, so I die cut a few small balloons and added them on each side of the sentiment. I also decided to give them some fuzzy pop-poms on their hats to finish them off. Enjoy!

A Wedding Card
Wedding season is upon us! This sweet High Hopes image is called Just Married #TT026 and is perfect to customize with each couple's wedding colours. I chose a champagne/grey combo with touches of peach and green. You can't tell in the photo, but the papers and banner have a great shimmer to them, to dress up the card considerably:
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and made up a few 3D flowers that I cut with my Cricut. A few champagne coloured pearls, and a bit of twine finished it off nicely.
