Happy Halloween

Welcome back, and Happy Halloween!  My card today is for the fun Challenge we had for the month of October, here at One Crazy Stamper.  We are showcasing the wonderful New Release from High Hopes Stamps Winter/Fall Fun!  So please stop by Lora's store for all these and tons of other things we all know we need.

The sketch is a bonus, and I think I pulled it off, only took me all month, wink, wink!
It was so fun to play with.

My card here was fun to create, I just started out creating the card, and then I colored the stamp and cut it out, popped it up.  I used some colorbox ink, and had some inky fun.  I used some dies and mask-it as well.  I added a few bats, and colored using Copic Markers, as well as Spica Markers.
I hope you have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by.  Till next time cheers!

Supplies: HH Stamps-Block Halloween and Bat Friends,  Border Punch, Tree Dies, Copic Markers, Bats, Ink, Foam Tape, Paper Web Embellishment, Spica Markers.

Happy Halloween! High Hopes Treat bag tutorial

Hi there, hope all is going well!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Since Halloween is almost here I decided to create a few treat bags for my friends.  Filled with a few scrappy items and candy of course!

This would be a fun project to make with or for the kids! Or how about a Halloween party's loot bag,
It just might be the perfect way to get in the Halloween Spirit :)
Made with High Hopes ..

Below is a tutorial on how to create these treat bags. Be sure to watch the video!
Chester is coloured with Copic Marker numbers ...
C1,C3,C5,E33,E35,E13,VO1,V04,V06,YG03,YG05,YG23,E50
The card stock is cut to the width of the treat bag and at a length of 7.5 inches.  I scored the card stock at 3 3/4 inches and folded in half.  Ribbon was tied into a bow and the image fussy cut and pop dotted to the base.  I used some silver Stickles as the finishing touch to these toppers.
Super fast and easy to create!
Here's a little close up of the Halloween fun! :)
Here's the little tutorial I created, please have a peek at the video!

Our October Challenge is Fall/Winter Fun and there is a sketch to get your creative juices flowing. Click here to play along - we can't wait to see what your create!

Moo-rry Christmas

There are a ton of fun, cute new stamps and sentiments  in the Fall/Winter Fun release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps!

Don't tell the snowmen, turkeys and witches and ghosts, but I have to admit - Charlie is my favourite from this release. There are 4 "Charlie" stamps and each one of them makes me smile! And don't get me started on the matching sentiments!

My card today is featuring: Chillin Charlie Christmas Cow" and the "Moo-rry Christmas" sentiment.

I coloured Charlie with alcohol markers (below), added some Stickles to his hat for a bit of sparkle, cut him out with a stitched rectangle die and edged it with antique linen distress ink. I love the stitched look around a stamp. I took advantage of the OCS pre-order for the Classic Christmas paper from Simple Stories and decided it was the perfect paper for this card. Some die cut holly, red enamel dots for the berry and cotton lace finish off my card.

Stamp: Chillin Charlie Christmas Cow (TT049) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Happy Friday!

Hope all is going well! I've been creating with some of the new release stamps from High Hopes :)
With sweater weather just around the corner I decided to create a cozy design using ...

The image is coloured with Copic markers.  I fussy cut my little penguin friend and added some white liquid applique to the image.  I let the liquid applique dry for 24 hours then using a  heat gun to poof up the trim on the hat and inside the beverage too.

The bow is made from a soft jute (which reminds me of yarn), lots of buttons that have been threaded then hot glued into place, some snowflake pattern paper inside the scallop frame and a knit embossed background for a  bit of warmth and cozy fun!
Thanks for peeking, hope you have a great weekend!

Wicked

Halloween is just around the corner and so is the end of October - YIKES!!

This week's inspiration brought to you by "Elvira & Friends" and the "Wicked" sentiment, both from the new Fall/Winter Fun release.

After colouring my stamp I fussy cut it out and added it to the background I created with pop dots. I pulled apart a cotton ball hoping to add a spooky feel, and added a spider web, spiders and a picket fence. I cut out a frame from black cardstock to frame my little scene. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with a fishtail banner die. I finished it off with some orange gumdrops.
I used the sketch from this month's challenge for my layout - substituting the banner for my spider web and placing a couple of my spiders in a different place. That is the great thing about using a sketch - you can "tweak" things a little to make it your own.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Elvira & Friends (TT055) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Wicked (HH033) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Spookville - We R Memory Keepers
Happy Haunting Die Set, Fence & Lampost,Fishtail Banner Dies - Your Next Stamp
Cotton ball, 3D Pop Dots - Forever in Time, Orange Gumdrops - Your Next Stamp, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic XpressIt

Gobble Til You Wobble

We celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend here in Canada. It was an amazing weekend full of family, fun and lots of turkey and pie.
I know I'm still wobbling!

Our OCS friends and fans in the U.S. celebrate Thanksgiving later, so I made this card as a reminder to "Eat More Pie" when you celebrate. lol

My card today features "Tommy Turkey" and the "Gobble Wobble" sentiment from the new Fall/Winter Fun release at High Hopes.

Our friend Tommy Turkey is put on an action wobble so when the card is moved he wobbles - he really makes me giggle!

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I fussy cut him out and added him to some dark brown card stock and cut around him again. I used a Spellbinders Lacey Circle and classic circle die to add some fun, food patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. Some twine and gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Tommy Turkey (TT045), High Hopes Rubber Stamps
