Get your happy on! High Hopes Stamps

Hi there and Happy Friday!
I've been playing around with these super sweet Owl's from High Hopes Stamps.
There are so many possibilities when creating with these sweet images.
There is a selection of accessories from Bows to branches, tree stumps glasses and more!
Kinda reminds me of   dressing up the old paper dolls when I was a Kid!
This is my first Card created with these cuties and there will be more to come for sure.
The SVG's are such a great addition to the stamp set. I just love the look of the crisp white border around the image. So many possibilities!
The image is coloured with Copics and pop doted for added dimension .
Sewing stitches, distressing and a few added die cuts to complete this card :)

Just Married!

It's Thursday already! Wow time sure does fly! I hope you have all enjoyed some sun and beautiful weather lately - I know I have!!!!

I kept the layout simple on this card because I really wanted the stamp to stand out. The sentiment and message will be included on the inside when I'm ready to give it.

I have neighbours who are getting married this summer, so the "Just Married" stamp from the Spring 2016 Collection from High Hopes is perfect!  The Groom to be owns a red antique tractor and races a tractor trailer and tractors so I purposely cut my image out on a slight angle. He will get a kick out of the fact that the "groom" is "driving" on two wheels.

My stamp is coloured with alcohol markers (list below) and cut out with a Stitched Rectangle die from Your Next Stamp.
To create my frame, I cut out a piece of white card stock and then used the same stitched rectangle die to cut out my window.
The embossed frame around the square was done by measuring the size of square I wanted and marking it with pencil on the back side of my frame.
Then I put it on my Scor-Pal and scored out my frame and popped it up with pop dots.
To achieve the blue sky around our happy couple, I left the paper with the image on it in the die and taped the die to the paper (on the backside). Then I took my sponge, ink and dauber and added the ink. It is very hard to see in the picture but the bumper, mirror and hearts on the Just Married sign are all done with Silver Wink of Stella, and Glossy Accents were added to the mirror.

Soccer Star

Hi OCS Fans!
Today's card was super quick and easy to make and is starring the adorable "Soccer Star" stamp from the New Spring 2016 release over at  High Hopes Stamps!
I am using the New SVG files that you can purchase to go along with your stamps if you have a cutting machine. The Soccer Star matching svg file gives you 2 sizes of outline "mats", one for your image and then a layering piece to go behind! I also used my Silhouette to make a soccer ball card base to match my soccer stamp.
I'm using the "What's Up" sentiment stamp and its matching svg file for the inside.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Hair: E41, E43, E44
Top: R24, R27, R29
Shorts and Shoes: C4, C5, C7, C9

Everything Grows with Love - High Hopes Stamps

Happy Friday, wow this week flew by!
I'm really looking forward to some crafting time this weekend :)
I created a little scallop card using ...
The image was stamped on the SVG and coloured with Copics.
Flowers were hot glued into place along with the satin ribbon. The sentiment is my all time favorite and I stamped it directly on the back of the card using a bright Tim Holtz Raspberry Distress Ink.
Thanks for peeking! I created a little video on how this card was created.  My cat really really liked this card. Check out the Video (sorry for the little distraction!)

Soccer Star

Hello One Crazy Stamper fans! It's Thursday and my turn to post some inspiration for you. I hope you have been enjoying the posts from the design team using the new Spring 2016 Collection from High Hopes.

My post today features "Soccer Star". How fun is this stamp!? I used to play soccer growing up so I love this stamp!

I started by cutting out the svg file for this image with my Cricut. Using my Misti, I lined up my image and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Soccer Star is coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I edged the image with a tuxedo black Memento pen. Her laces are done with a white gel pen and she is popped up with pop dots. Patterned paper from Doodlebug gave me some fun, bright colours to play with. The grass, star and clouds are cut with dies (see below). My card is finished off with black gumdrops.

Miss Katie!

Hi OCS Fans!
This little darling is called "Miss Katie" and is from the New Spring 2016 Release from High Hopes Stamps. As soon as I saw her I knew I wanted to try to make a ribbon Tutu for her to wear!
I found these papers in my stash and thought they went well with my coloured image. I also decided to distress all my Designer paper edges and then inked them up with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I added a doily, ribbon, and purple rhinestone gems as embellishments.
On the inside I used the sentiment "Hoping Your Day".
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Outfit: V20, V22, V25, V28
Shoes: R01, R20
