Hot Flashes

Remember we are still having our challenge at One Crazy Stamper: Masculine Cards.

Well today's card is for the girls.

Perfect Flashes from Art Impressions available from One Crazy Stamper. I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress It card stock

I paper pieced the images with Echo Park This & That and Stripes and Dots. I also colored the image with the copics pictured below:

Lizzie Finger Painting {Making a quick card!!~}

Hi everyone Cindy here Welcome to my One Crazy Stamper card. 

Design Tip: If you want to make a quick card, and don’t have time to color, just stamp your detailed stamp with a color from your Design paper and color only a few details with the same color. Quick and easy!!~

Bird on a Branch – Marianne Creatable

 

I’ve chosen to showcase the wonderful array of Tim Holtz Distress inks that One Crazy Stamper has in the store and a beautiful die from the  Marianne Creatable’s collection.  I used the Spellbinder scalloped rectangles, using the negative to blend the distress ink onto my 5” x 5” vanilla cardstock.  Masking and overlapping the stencil created the foreground / background effect.

The Bird on a Branch was cut and embossed and then I used a sponge dauber to apply ink to give the die cut dimension.  I also sponged the My Mind's Eye button and die cut to give a little dimension.  Brads, a suede cord and a sentiment were added from stash. The knot on the suede cord is called a Double Carrick knot.

April is “Masculine” month for the challenge at OCS – Can’t wait to see your creations, for a chance to win free stuff.

Now is the Time....

A new month means a new challenge theme here at One Crazy Stamper, and April's theme is Masculine!!! I spent time this week playing with an Art Impressions Front and Back stamp, the Art Impressions Fence stamp, Stamping Bella's Little Umbrella image and a couple of Memory Box dies.

On the front of the card, the image was colored with Copics, fussy cut, then layered onto the fence image that I stamped on dp from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks collection. The grass was cut with a Magnolia die, and the sentiment is from Pink By Design's retirement set.

The inside of the card features the Little Umbrella image also colored with Copics and fussy cut. Both the clouds and branches are Memory Box dies and the sentiment is from the same stamp set as the front sentiment.

Under The Weather?

I have another get well card for you today.....since it's umbrella season and all!!  This time it's for One Crazy Stamper featuring the Inky Antics HoneyPoP set Umbrella Friends.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. 

These cards are fun because the designing isn't just left to the outside of the card....but continues inside as well!  Check out that adorable HoneyPoP umbella element! 

Other elements on this card are designer paper from My Mind's Eye, Candi embellishments and a touch of Faux Stitching.

April Guest Designer Naomi

I want to introduce you today to Naomi, one of our April Guest Designers.  She created a couple of gorgeous cards for us this month at OCS.

 

 

 

 

Her card uses the Flourishes set Baby Love.  This is so perfect in pink!  I especially love the pearls and bow.

  

And her card is beautifully decorated on the inside too!
