Group Hug!

Happy Saturday!
Wow it's Saturday again and that means it's my turn to post a card! Today I decided to use the Art Impressions Girlfriends 2015 Bench set. I love this image and every time I see it it screams Christmas to me.
I decided to use designer papers from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day collection that I had in my stash from last year. I love the colour combination of the minty green and red in this 6x6 paper pad. I fussy cut the image out and added it to my card with foam squares for some dimension. This time I used Crystal Stickles to add my bling! I love all things that glitter, maybe I was a glitter fairy in a former life LOL!
On the inside I layered a sentiment that I cut out from the paper pad.
 Copics used:

Time To Celebrate!

Hi Everyone!

It's Saturday so that means you get to see what I have created for this week's blog post! This week I am using the Art Impressions new Girlfriend Cheer Set! I am in love with all the Girlfriends from Ai. They always make me giggle and put a smile on my face!

For this card I paper pieced all the girl's tops with paper from the Echo Park Bundle Of Joy- New Addition 6x6 designer paper pad. I used my concave corner punch on my stamped image and layered cardstock. I also inked the edges of all the papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Victorian Velvet. I love this technique as it helps to make your paper pop! On the pom poms I added Crystal Stickles for some added interest.

I always like to add some sort of die cuts as well as a sentiment on the inside of my cards. It just makes me feel like the project is complete! This Cheer set comes with 3 sentiments and I used them all on this project.

Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E02, R20, RV17
Hair: Y21, YR23, E15 / E23, E25, E29 / T0, T1, T3, T5
Green items: G21, G24, G40
Grey items: T0, T1, T3
Pink items: R81, R83, R85
Blue items: BG000, BG01
Ground and outline: T0, T1, BG000

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! See you next week.

Calling all Quilters!

Hello everyone!  I'm using a great new stamp set from Art Impressions today, that will appeal to quilters, seamstresses or even just fans of the Girlfriends line by Ai - it's called Quilt Set:
I picked this background paper that has a bit of a quilted feel to it, and did some bright red zigzag stitching on the edges, leaving the ends of the thread loose.  There is a third sentiment in the set, which I also love: "May Your Bobbin Never be Empty" - and here's the one I chose for the inside:

Don't forget that our March challenge has started here on the OCS blog - scroll back to the March 1st post to link up your creations!  Here's what you can find in the OCS store from my card:

Art Impressions Girlfriends

Hello everyone!  I'm sneaking in a bonus post this month... to share a couple of cards made with one of the sets from the popular Art Impressions Girlfriends line: Laughing Set:
I wanted to keep them fairly flat for mailing, and also wanted to use up some scraps!  I had already coloured up the images to match this paper pack, and here's what I had sitting on my craft desk, leftover from previous projects:

Bits and pieces!  I was determined not to cut into any new sheets, so here's what I came up with:

Lora has a FABULOUS assortment of Art Impressions stamps in the One Crazy Stamper store... you can see them all hereAnd wait until you see the newest release!  You can preorder them here.

Pedal Pushers Set

Hello everyone!  I am a big fan of the Art Impressions Girlfriends stamps... so I'm sharing a card made with Pedal Pushers today.  I went with some pretty, girly colours:
This is a large image!  So I made a large card: 5" x 6 1/2".  I popped up my image on pop dots so that I could tie twine behind it, and set it on an angle to show off the little piece of grey paper behind them that I zigzagged in a couple of places.
