Sweet Blossom

Today I'm sharing project using the Sweet Blossom image from Whimsy Stamps for my One Crazy Stamper post!
I colored her up with Copic markers:  B99, B97, B95, B41, YG67, YG17,YG13, E02, E00, E47, E44, E43, E31, YR27, YR14, Y35, Y21.

I distressed the image edges with Tim Holtz's Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint.
I love using embroidery on a card to dress it up a bit.  This is the first time I used three different coordinating threads to frame my image.  I create a pattern I like, pierce it freehand and then stitch it up!

Designer papers are from BasicGrey's Clippings collection.  I then framed the panel in a 9 x 9 inch frame that my husband made for me.  I left the glass out for the purpose of the photo.

Lora from One Crazy Stampers sent along the Book Worm image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps....so what to do but make a few book markers!  I have a 10 year old bookworm in the house....who usually has pile of books he's in the process of reading.

I colored the images with Copic Markers:  R59, R56, YG67, YG17, YG23, BG75, BG72, YR27, YR23, E49, E47, E44, E43.  Papers are from Basic Grey's Clippings collection.   I distressed the papers with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Belle With Laundry

This image seemed appropriate for today's challenge....I've been quickly getting all my laundry/housework caught up a bit so I can spend Tuesday at CHA!  What a darling image from Belles'n Whistles to depict an everyday occurence of our lives!

I colored Belle With Laundry with the Copics shown below:
I used designer paper from BasicGrey's Sweet Threads collection.  I kept the designe simple since the image is so detailed and delicate.

I don't mind laundry....that is such a good feeling when everything is fresh and clean!  Now ironing...THAT is another story!!  Blech!!

Spring Hello!

I have spring on my mind...and these girls are outside chatting on a chilly spring day! I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored the Stampavie Eloise and Mimi Saying Hello image with Copic Markers.

Copic Markers: E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, E02, E00, W7, W5, YG17, YG13, YG00, BG72, BG10, YR24, Y21, B97, B45, B41, R39, R37, R22, R21, R20.

I used papers from BasicGrey's 6x6 Hopscotch Collection for my card. I kept the embellishments simple, and just cut out flowers and leaves to embellish my Elegant Ellipse frame.
