Noel, Noel.....

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Another week has gone by and I hope you have been enjoying the summer heat.  OCS challenge theme this month is "Christmas in July".  For my card today, I have used an older High Hopes Rubber Stamps called Christmas Carolers.

I added some Be Creative Sookwang Tape around the border of the image and then added some Frosty Mint glitter from Glitter Ritz on top.  The background paper was foiled with Gold Reactive foil from Heidi Swapp.

I have been wanting to do some quilling for quite some time, since taking a couple of quilling classes last year.  This is the first time, I have made a quilled snowflake.

Supplies used:
There is still time to enter this month's "July in Christmas" challenge for a chance to win 2 unmounted High Hopes Rubber Stamps of your choice.  For any supplies that you might need , check out Lora's OCS store.

Until next time, enjoy the summer and happy crafting.

'Owl' always love you.....

Hi Crafty Peeps;

No doubt you  have all seen the pre-orders that Lora has up on the OCS website.  Sugar Hollow from Heartfelt Creations has arrived, and there is no doubt that this set is really cute and fun to play with.  For my post today, I have used some stamps and a die from this collection.  For the first card, I used the matching die to cut the owls out, and fuzzy cut the owls in the nest.  Both of these were mounted with pop dot adhesives.

Supplies  used:
 Do grab a coffe or tea and have a visit at OCS to check out the OCS Design Team creations as well as stopping by Lora's store to replenish your supplies.  Once you have done your browsing do be creative and enter this month's challenge for a chance to win a prize from OCS.

Until next time, keep crafting

Hugs,

Christmas Blessings

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Even though it is mid summer, and before we know it Christmas will be here.  For my OCS "Creative Inspiration: post today, I have used the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia stamp along with their co-ordinating die and paper.  The Sparkling Poinsettia paper pad, also has verses that can be added to the inside of a card.  To shape the poinsettia I used the Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit which is a wonderful set of tools for shaping paper flowers.  I added some Glossy Accents to to the top of the candle.  Instead of using water with the Zig Clean Color Brush Markers I used the Zig Wink of Luna clear pen which added some glitter.

Shopping Style

Here in Alberta, we are slowly melting our way through the summer heat as temperatures are in the high 20's and low 30's once again, so what better way to beat the heat then to go shopping in wonderful air conditioned malls.  My card today is a perfect fit.

This is Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Charlotte Loves to Shop that I have stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Copic Xpress It cardstock and then colored with Copics. I gave the purse under her arm a layer of Wink of Stella clear to add a hint of glimmer.  The sentiment is included with the image, while buttons, dp and jute all are from my stash.
