Getting Krafty with Agnes--Kraftin Kimmie

Woo Hoo I received some new goodies in the mail from Lora and I could not wait to play!  have you checked out the Kraftin Kimmie section of the store lately???  OMGosh there are some new fairies, and some fun girls that are just like us!!!  Some stuff is even marked lower then the super low prices that are already in place!  This is one of my absolute favorites and as soon as I saw her I HAD to have her....This is exactly who I want to be, well, except for hand mixing.  That is where my cherished Kitchen aid comes in handy.

Isn't she adorable!  I had this fun vintage looking scrap Design Paper in my stash and it has ingredients for a recipe so I HAD to use it.  Agnes is colored with copics (shocker, right?).  I finally upgraded my trimmers so it was a lot easier to trimming her.

Antique Map

This month our challenge at One Crazy Stamper is to make masculine cards.

For today's post I used Flourishes Antique Map and stamped it with brown Memento ink onto craft cs. I then spritzed it with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Leather to create that Old World feel!

I daubed on some blue ink for areas of the ocean.

I cut out the compass rose and popped it up and added some glaze. I tied a sailor's knot with some twine and added the sentiment, "#1Dad," from Flourishes Mix 'N Mugs.

I stamped that unto a ribbon banner and daubed it with brown ink.

Now I have a perfect Father's Day Card.

Summer fun!

 

  Well it’s the end of my time on One Crazy Stampers DT. I would like to thank everyone, especially Lora for the wonderful opportunity to play some really great products and share my talent. With summer here family commitments are taking priority until school starts back up. My Son is playing Tball and that is taking up some of my spare time as well. I hope everyone has a great summer and we will see you this fall.

Holy Catfish!

Hi all, Madge here once again.  I’ve spent the last week making the transition from our house to the Lake for “fishing season” the second trip this year.  Our 5th wheel is only an hour and twenty minutes away from our house, but when we get out here there is no desire  to go home except for emergencies and to pick up snail mail.  Beautiful place to be.  The downside? I don’t have all my stamp room here:(    The trunk of my car is just so big and we had to bring other insignificant stuff…..like food and clothes…….lol

I had the idea to make the fish bowl spin, however, it was a little challenging because the bowl wasn’t uniform on both sides.  So I added the “Holy Catfish! to the other side.

Materials:   Whimsy “Cat and Fish”, Sentiment:  Kraftin’ Kimmies, Xpress Blend It cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Tea Dye and Faded Denim Distresss inks, Spellbinders Lg rectangles, Copic Markers,  Doohicky Dragonfly Die, misc. button and seaweed spray, scrap of DP, SU cardstock (Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip)  I didn’t have any string, so Dental Floss saved the day – now my card smells minty….. and not fishy…….lol

Just Right Stamper

For today's card I used a stamp from Just Rite called "By the Sea Borders and Centers".

Don't forget if you pick up some of these stamps to also get the wooden stamper to go with it. 

I stamped my watercolor paper with Staz-On ink in black. The stamp was colored very quickly with my watercolor paints but you could get the same look using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  Then the only thing left to do was to cut it out with my Spellbinders Nestabilities Oval. One thing I tend to overlook mentioning is my glue or adhesive! I love my Pro Glider gun!! And my other stand by is X-Press It tape!! Love both of these products.

Letters with Flourish!

I could not wait to get into this beautiful Flourishes stamp set called From The Desk Of that I got in the mail from One Crazy Stamper last week!

I stamped my image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Copic X-press It cardstock and colored it with the Copic Markers shown below:

To dress my card up, I added a paper embroidery frame to my card and then embellished it with a pile of pearls!

Pretty Lady

  I’m back with a card using my new obsession,  burlap.  I used this sweet SWALK stamp for my card and paired it with some October Afternoon papers. I used this Magnolia Doohickey Die which is still in stock at the OCS store.
