Happy, Happy Hippo

Today's Birthday themed card for the monthly challenge at One Crazy Stamper is a clean and simple design!

The card base is just a piece of yellow cardstock with a layer of dp from Echo Park Paper's Beautiful Life collection, and finished with a piece of white cardstock embossed with an older Cuttlebug folder. A simple piece of ribbon was wrapped around the embossed paper before it was adhered to the card front. The adorable image is one of three included on the Whimsy Stamps Happy Birthday to You set available here.

You Rock! Birthday

You Rock, well I guess this guy does.  I know I don't make male birthday cards enough, and this one was pretty fun.  

This KennyK Stamp-Groovin Dude was fun to color up!  I was trying to find some music paper and in the 6x6 paper pack from Bo Bunny - C'est La Vie Collection was this cool sheet of music.  I love my spellbinders and some bling.

Apple Blossom Skates

One Grey Balloon

Good morning fellow crafty peeps, I have a cute greyscale card to share with you today. When I first planed this card it was supposed to be bright and in pinks but my design idea changed three times! and ended up like this. The whole image was coloured with only 5 copic markers, T0,T3,T5,T6,T9 and a wee bit of a pink prisma pencil on her cheeks. I wanted to use an oval die, but the largest wouldn't fit around the image, which created a perfect opportunity to use the "Out of the Box Technique". I did end up messing it up a bit and had to trim off the embossed edge of the oval(oops). This stamp also comes with a "Birthday Girl" sentiment, which is stamped on the inside.

Where Does the Time Go!!

Good morning to all of my fellow crafters..another week has passed where does the time go...So in the spirit of time and the CHALLENGE THEME which is BIRTHDAY..I have chosen this image and coloured her up with Copics and of course some Prisma Pencils..all of the supplies that I have used can be found over at ONE CRAZY STAMPER ..

here are the Copics that I used to colour this little gem up and the Prisma Pencils I will list below..

as you can see here I have a pic of the stamp her name is CAKES and she is a Sherri Baldy design..I stamped her using the above ink on white Cardstock and the sparkle on her dress is STICKLES the colour is Frosted Lace..

Golfer Glen

Hello.  Glad you could make it today for another "Wonderful Wednesday".  The style of card I have today is one that I, along with many card makers, struggle with.  It is a masculine card.  I will gladly use all shades of pink, purple, flowers, lots of bling and pretty flourishes to decorate a card.  But what happens when not one of those things can be used?  I guess you could say my "go to" things for masculine cards are metal, buttons and twine.  All three have been used on this birthday card which follows our theme for the month of August.

Laundry Day

Welcome to Terrific Tuesday here at One Crazy Stamper and my card today follows this month's challenge theme of BIRTHDAY!!!! 

 

 

I have colored the image Lemon Pepper's Laundry Day stamp from Whimsy Stamps with my Copic Sketch Markers, then matted and mounted it on several papers from Echo Park's Beautiful Life collection.  The doily in the corner was inked with Antique Linen Distress ink, and the ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

Lilliana Birthday

Hello friends, thanks for stopping  to see what we've been doing, I thought I would change up my card a bit today, and I created a double z fold card, and instead of opening it as a gate or the fold towards you, I did it away from you.

You will see in the following pictures.  I like how Lillianna colors up she is from Saturated Canary Little Darlings stamps, love these stamps.

Birthday Treasure!!!

For my card today for One Crazy Stamper I have used this adorable image from Nellie Snellen called Young Rebels - Treasure.  This card is for my second youngest grandson Orion who turned 4 last Monday.   One of his gifts was a couple of transformers which are his treasures.  He is a big transformers fan; can recite all the names and tranform them all in minutes.
