Hugs to Cheer You!

Welcome OCS Fans;

A few months ago, I set a personal challenge to try and use a different technique or medium every week. Well it started out well, but kinda went by the wayside lately.

For today's card, I used a Flowered Circle Luxury Cardlayer top that was in my stash. I used these a few years ago. Violet and Green Sulky Thread was used to do the stitching.

After stamping the Pretty Gladiolas (TT110) stamp from High Hopes Stamps, I coloured it using Derwent Inktense Pencils.  Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops were added to the gladiolas.

Supplies used:
  • Stamps:  Pretty Gladiolas, Hugs to Cheer You! (High Hopes Stamps)
  • Ink:  Staz on Jet Black
  • Paper:  Strathmore Watercolor Paper; DP - Watercolor Washes (Lawn Fawn)
  • Derwent Inktense Pencils:  081 - Light Violet, 080 - Violet, 047 - May Green, 048 - Emerald Green
  • Nuvo Crystal Drops: Morning Dew
  • Doodey Luxury Cardlayers - Flowered Circle 1
  • Sulky Thread: Violet, Green
  • Embellishments: Miscellaneous Pearls
Be sure to stop by the One Crazy Stamper blog and Facebook Page for some daily inspiration from the Design Team Divas.  You can also follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.

Miracle

For today's post for One Crazy Stamper I decided to create something a little different.  This card features three different stamp images from different companies but they all came together beautifully.

I started this card by stamping the High Hopes Rubber stamp Forest on to water color paper with Versa Mark embossing ink, and then white embossing powder was applied and heated.  Once that was finished I used Inktense pencils to color the card front.  A sentiment from Crafter's Companion and the Santa and sleigh image from my stash finished off the front.  I added some clear glitter glue to the snow and trees to add some sparkle.

Card Recipe - Inktense pencils -0840 Iron Blue, 0900 Iris Blue, 1510 Beech Green, 1310 Iron Green, 2110 Payne's Grey, 1900 Willow

Singing Moose and Beaver!!

I'll admit it - I'm a bit of a planner, so I make Christmas cards year round in the hopes that I will have a stack to send out come December.  Of course it never fails though - I get a bunch made and someone buys them all in November so once again I have none - sigh!

This card features one of my all time favorite images from High Hopes Rubber Stamps because who doesn't love a moose and a beaver!  This is Mudzie and Chopper's Caroling (S205) available here.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored it with Inktense pencils and a water brush.  All of the edges of the papers were distressed with the Prima Comfort Distress Tool and then inked with a Antique Linen ink pad.  The treble clef die is from my stash, and the sentiment was printed right on the ribbon - bonus!!

Hang in there!!!

Hi Crafty Peeps;

I hope you all enjoyed your time off yesterday with your family.  It was Family Day, and at least the weather was a little bit warmer than it has been.  For today's post, I have used the Sugar Hollow Hangout stamp set as well as the matching paper from Heartfelt Creations.  This is sure a fun set to use.  I used matching paper for the inside of the card.

Wings of Hope!

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Wednesday is here again, which means hump day as well as this month is almost over.  Where oh where is the time going.  Besides having a new challenge on Monday as it is June 1st, school is almost out for the summer and a big move for my work which is an academic library will be over by mid June.  Yeah! Can't wait for that to happen, moving houses is definitely a lot easier.  As my camera is having issues (the auto focus isn't working properly), a thank you goes to my daughter-in-law Amanda for taking this photo with her iPhone

For my post today, I have used the Birds & Blooms, Leafy Branches stamps and co-ordinating dies both from Heartfelt Creations.  I used this specific piece of design paper for the wording on it.  It is the Butterfly Medley Collection also from Heartfelt Creations.  I added the small double dot jewels to the centers of the flowers.

Supplies used:
There are still a few more days to enter this month's challenge.  For any supplies that you might need check out both Lora's OCS online and brick & mortar stores.  Both the products and prices are amazing.

Until next time, happy crafting and enjoy the time with your families.

Hugs,

As it is a new month, this means that we have a new challenge here at OCS, and it is "Anything Goes".  For my post today, I have used a High Hopes Rubber Stamps called "Hummingbird Ring" and no design paper.  I used the Ranger Distress Inks to add colour to the embossed background.

My Best Friend

Hello Fellow Crafters;

Wacky Wednesday is here again and hopefully the snow is finished for the week.  February has started with a lot of snow.

Here at OCS, we have a new challenge this month which is Red, White and a Die. We are using the High Hopes January release and for my post today, I have used this cute image called My Best Friend.  I used Ranger's Dried Marigold and Mowed Lawn distress inks to add colour to the embossing folder.  The sentiment was left off as I was unsure of what to use at the moment.  It can be added later when I use the card.

Supplies used:
There is plenty of time to enter this month's challenge for a change to win a prize from OCS.  For any supplies that you might need for your project, check out Lora's OCS for some great products, Pre-Orders and amazing prices.

Tea for Two

Hi All;

It is Wednesday, which is also hump day -- can't wait for some warmer weather on the weekend as it has certainly been cold.  The OCS DT have been showing the new release for High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I used the Derwent Inktense Pencils to colour it.  As I couldn't decide on a sentiment to use, I decided to go without one.

For my post today, I have used this adorable image called Tea for Two.

Supplies used:
There is still plenty of time to enter this month's challenge to win a prize pack of High Hopes Stamps.
If you need any supplies for your entry, check out Lora's store, OCS for some great products and amazing prices.

Best Wishes!!!

Hi Everyone;

It has been quite a while since I have been able to use any other mediums then Copic Markers, so I thought for today's post for One Crazy Stamper, I would try the Inktense pencils.  I also went out of my comfort zone a bit.  I used this same image on the 1st of the month, completely different layout and Copic Markers were used at that time.

I touched a wet paint brush to the tip of the Inktense pencil and transferred this to a craft sheet.  This was done a few times, so that there was a small pool of colour on the sheet.  I used a stem stitch and Hot Pink Sulky thread around the die cuts.

Supplies used:
There are still a few days left to enter this month's "Anything Goes" challenge. Please DO NOT use a Digital Image.  In the meantime, check out Lora's store One Crazy Stamper for some amazing deals.

Until next time, keep crafting.

Mother's Day

Hi Everyone;

My card today for One Crazy Stamper is a card for my Mom, as today is Mother's Day.  To all the mothers out there, have a wonderful and Happy Mother's Day.

Instead of using Copic Markers, I have used Derwent Inktense Pencils and Faber-Castell Gelatos.  I ran the Garden Delight M-Bossabilities through the Cuttlebug and added the Faber-Castell Metallic Blueberry and Metallic Mint Gelatos to the top.  I then spritzed it with a bit of water and rubbed my finger all over.  After I cut the butterfly out using the Floral Ovals, I added the back stitch using a verigated metallic thread, and then distressed it using the Antique Linen distress ink.  I then added some Crystal Glamour Dust from Deco Art.

There is still plenty of time to enter this month's Flower Challenge for a chance to win a prize pack from One Crazy Stamper. All the supplies I have used can be found at Lora's store One Crazy Stamper.

Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi All,

It's Sue here for my regular Sunday post for One Crazy Stamper.  I don't know how others feel, but I find that a sympathy card is one of the hardest to make.  This card will be mailed to a co-worker who just recently lost her husband.  The image and sentiment are from a set called Sympathy Sentiments by Kraftin' Kimmie.  The flower was coloured with the new Derwent Inktense Pencils.

 Supplies used:
All supplies can be found at Lora's store One Crazy Stamper.  There is still plenty of time to enter this month's BBQ/Food challenge for a chance to win a prize.
