Spring Hello!

I have spring on my mind...and these girls are outside chatting on a chilly spring day! I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored the Stampavie Eloise and Mimi Saying Hello image with Copic Markers.

Copic Markers: E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, E02, E00, W7, W5, YG17, YG13, YG00, BG72, BG10, YR24, Y21, B97, B45, B41, R39, R37, R22, R21, R20.

I used papers from BasicGrey's 6x6 Hopscotch Collection for my card. I kept the embellishments simple, and just cut out flowers and leaves to embellish my Elegant Ellipse frame.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Hi  all,  Madge here.  I’ve chosen to share a card with you today using the  adorable set by Penny Black called “Teddy & Company  from http://onecrazystamper.com/ .P1120109 copy

It may be still cold and bleak looking outside, but we may as well dream “spring”.

P1120110A little over a year ago I was asking myself if copic markers were worth their “over-inflated” pricing.  After a year of playing with them, the answer is “YES”.  I love the way they blend, I love the way the smallest most minute touch lends itself to colour.  YES, my friends they are worth every penny!  Check out Lora’s prices at the OCS Shop ….they are so inexpensive!

OCS also has a contest for March involving a sketch – submit your interpretation of the sketch and you will have a chance to win $$$ at Lora’s shop.  Can’t wait to see your submission!

Supplies used:  Teddy & Co., Copics, MS punch, Dew Drops, SU cardstock and paper from unknown source.

Keep stamping, and keep smiling – Spring will be here soon!

The Greeting Farm - Laundry

I just love this stamp by The Greeting Farm.  It's simply called Laundry and doesn't that about sum it up?
I stamped this with my Memento Ink Pad in Tuxedo Black and then colored her with my Copic Markers. Here's a close up of just her:
Copics:
Skin: E11, E02, E00, E000, R20
Hair: C9, C7, C5, B32, B21
Reds: R89, R39, R37, R35 ( I should also mentioned her headband and one of the towels are paper pieced)
Slippers: C1, V01 and Stickles
Pinks: RV23, RV21, RV00
Purples: V01, V04, V06

The shapes were cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle, Lacey Circle and Deckled Rectangle for the sentiment. That sentiment is perfect for this stamp! It is called Sassy Sentiments from Amy R and is available here.  Here's a close up of it:
The final touches were some doodling with both a white gel pen and black fine point marker, some bakers twine and buttons from my stash and 3 black 1/2 pearls.
Hope to see your take on Jacilynn's fun sketch for our challenge this month! Don't forget, first place prize is $25 to One Crazy Stamper!!!
Hugs~

Is it too early for Easter cards? I used this Sweet November image and paper pieced on it. I also added some shading to the paper piecing with my Copics.  My papers are Imaginesce and my ticket is from Whimsy Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Make sure to stop by the OCS store to see the new items!
