Kovu Love -- High Hopes Stamps

Darling Kovu was  coloured with Copics. Added some cotton balls to the background and white acrylic paint too.  I wanted lots of puffy clouds in the background and a ton of Valentine hearts (mission complete lol!!)

I used a white sharpie marker for this little guys dimples, Raspberry distress ink for the sentiment tag and a brown Prismacolor pencil to define Kovu's quills and really deepen the shading.  The twine has been in my ribbon stash forever and I worked my colour scheme around it so everything would coordinate.

Love Birds

I have been having some fun playing with the "Live Love Laugh" release from High Hopes. My post for today features " Love Birds" and the "Heart Sing" sentiment.  

This image is so cute and versatile! I can see it being used for Valentine's day, weddings, spouse birthdays.......the list goes on and on.......

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers the fussy cut the image out with cuticle scissors and an exacto knife. The heart is from a stencil  and it is hand cut as well. I used a black marker around the edge to make it pop a bit. 

A piece of cardstock run through a heart embossing folder created the perfect background in the heart. Add a stamped sentiment and some enamel dots and voila! - a CAS layout for you Valentine.

Crazy For You

Welcome back I have another fun new release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps called Live Love Laugh, to share with you.  

It is my turn to share my card, here at One Crazy Stamper and my stamp I am using is called Hal and Hootie, and Crazy For You.  So much fun coloring and creating my card.  

 

I used the One Crazy Stamper, sketch this is an option for the our challenge, and I flipped it this time.  I also added some flowers and gems as well as used a spellbinder oval die, along with YNS oval stitched die.  I hope you have some fun with this challenge, and Lora has some wonderful prizes, as well as tons of supplies in her store, so please stop by and check it out  Till next time, hope you get your craft groove on.  Cheers!

I used my old typewriter to create a back ground with  love type  words. Added ribbon and this super sweet image from High Hopes to complete this card.  The image was coloured with both Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. Sewing stitches were used on both the card base and coloured image.

Me & You

Welcome back OCS Fans! I hope things are getting back to normal for you after the holiday season! 

I had some time off over the holidays which meant time to play with "Sloth Love" and the "Me and You" sentiment from the new Live Laugh Love release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

I wouldn't say sloths are my favourite animal in the world but they are a fav of my son's girlfriend so I knew I had to colour them up. These two are so cute..... maybe sloths are growing on me <grin>

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers and cut it out with a stitched rectangle die. I coloured a sky background with an alcohol marker as well...something newish (I've done it once before) for me but I like how it makes the image pop! and a small bow with polka dots was added just for fun.

The card layout was one of those that just kind of popped into my brain and just kind of "came" together for me as I played with different patterned paper combinations. A die cut label, banner die piece and some gumdrops finish off my card.
