For some reason it is baby season with my family and friends so I have needed a lot of baby shower cards and thankfully I had this GREAT image in my stash!  I love her and she is so sweet to color!

This is Kraftin Kimmie Caroline.  I used Oval Nestabilities in both regular and scalloped and small and large.  I also used some fabulous red rhinestones!

Hope you all enjoy today's card!!!  Also, you have until tomorrow to enter this months fun fall/Halloween challenge!!!

Autumn Goodness & Fun

You still have time to join our October challenge at One Crazy Stamper and make a fall card.
For today's card I used the Autumn Harvest pumpkins from the September YNS Release available from One Crazy Stamper . I stamped my pumpkins with Memento Rich Cocoa Brown ink and colored them with the copics pictured below:

I added a sheer striped ribbon and brad.
All items are available at One Crazy Stamper.

Purrrrrrrfect Halloween

Hi all, Madge here for a very late wonderful Wednesday!  “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get”.  Oh this is soooooo true.

Today I’m using a Kraftin Kimmie image called Kreepy Kitty.  I wanted to keep the P1120481 copyimage simple and use distress inks to bring the white background to my choice of colours.  My image appears more purple IRL, however my camera picked up blues.

I stamped the image onto Xpress it with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink, coloured it with copics, and cut it  out.  The background is Xpress it shaded with Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Dried Marigold, Stormy Sky).  I then stamped a tree branch, tore and distressed the edges. I added some gold mica chips to give the appearance of leaves in the moonlight. The distressed paper was mounted onto a retired SU cardstock (Marigold Morning) and adhered to Black Cardstock. The sentiment was treated the same.

Simple and easy.  Hope it gave you an idea of how this kitty can be used – quick and easy.

You’ve still got a week to enter the October OCS Fall Challenge for OCS free stuff. We love to see what you come up with!

Autumn Wishes

As anyone who may have visited my blog may have noticed, I love Crissy Armstrong's collection of images, whether their digital or rubber, so for my card this week, I used the adorable Pum Kinnie Fairy from Whimsy Stamps.

The image was colored with Copics, cut with a die from Spellbinders Shapeabilities Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents, and layered over designer paper from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall collection.  All of the edges were distressed with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress ink, and the pearls were made with a turquoise Viva Decor pearl pen.  Although it does not really show in this photo, the wings were painted with Smooch Pearlized Top Coat, to add a touch of glimmer.

Sweet Blossom!

This card is for One Crazy Stamper and uses the adorable Sweet Blossom image!  This card is not in season...but I was inspired to use some scraps of wrapping paper from my daughter's birthday...which happened to be pretty tulips!  I decided to make a spring card even though fall is in full swing and winter will be here before long.  You never know when you might need a perky spring card to cheer up someone's winter blues!

I used the paper in inchie form (slightly smaller, actually, so they would fit on the card!)

I colored the image with Copic Markers: E49, E47, E44, E00, E02, YG17, Y11, Y21, Y35, E43, BG10, R22, R21, RV55, RV63.

Kraftin Kimmie Tutorial

Hi All!!!  I have a super cute tutorial/altered project to show you!!!  I was very nervous about altering this because I am so new to altering stuff and I have held on to this cork board (that I found at the Dollar Store) because I wanted the perfect project!
I got all of these adorable images from One Crazy Stamper

OK so I started with just a simple cork board with a wood frame.

The size of the cork board frame was 12x 8.25.  I cut the paper a little less then that and played with the trimming until I could fit it.

This is what it looks like when it fits in and I slid it under the frame part.

I cut strips for the edge of the frame

I had to cut off corners so it would be easy to fold over

I used the one I cut to stencil lines on all of the other strips
I used sticky tape and I placed the strips on the edge of the slits.  You may notice that the strips are longer and that is so I can fold it over for a clean look.

Here is a look of the sticky tape on the edge of the frame. Scor Tape was used!

I used some chipboard letters to place to do on the top and you can see how all the paper is folded over the edge of the frame.  I also used glue dots to place a strip of ribbon to be able to hang this. (you'll see this in the pictures below)  You also get a peek at my little list helpers.
Here is the super adorable Tori!  And also a peek at how the ribbon looks!
 Here is Brigitte
 Here's Rosabelle.
 Here's Antoinette.
 Here's Agnes
Here's all of them in the scalloped border that holds them all at the bottom.  This way I can change out my kimmies with what my mood is!
Hope you enjoyed the project!  I had a blast making it!  It was also way easier to do then I thought just time consuming but I love this hanging in my stamp area!

Hallowe’en Treats Galore – YNS

Hi all, Madge here for another Wednesday – have you ever had a day where you want to scream at the top of your lungs “Stand in line and take a number”!!!!!
Well, the last 24 hours have been that day.

My remedy for all my stress??  CHOCOLATE!!!!!  Today, my little project will do just that!!
I’ve chosen to showcase YNS (Your Next Stamp) stinkin’ cute “Happy Hallowe'en, Spooktakular, Spooky Hello and Trick-or-Treat for my little treat bags.   These spooky little critters are ALL available at OCS.
I chose Capella DP from the Cappella collection…….but while perusing the OCS store, I saw paper that would be absolutely perfect…. Take a look!!
Coloring was simple and quick using markers and Distress inks.

    P1120424 copyP1120437 copy
The bags have velcro closure topped with a floral punch. The Spider is the closure tab for the little bag with the sentiment underneath.   The self adhesive backing for the velcro showed through the floral punch,  so I added copper glitter – stuck down perfectly!!
“Spooky” was stamped on Vellum and fussy cut it to pop it on top of the DP……kind of ghostly!?? P1120417 copyP1120434 copyP1120431 copy

Sentiments were added to the inside of the little treat bags.
These little bags (Tutorial will follow on my blog) are so quick and easy to make up and the little YNS
images available at OCS, fit perfectly!!

P1120447 copy

Hope you enjoy looking at them………..  I’m off to enjoy some chocolate…..LOL

Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder

Hello One Crazy Stamper followers,

I'm the new kid in town, having just been invited to join the wonderful design team for One Crazy Stamper, and I am so excited and honored to be a part of this great team!!  I had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer here in June and loved it, so this is going to be so much fun.  Here's a short bio:
I am mom to two adults and 4 fur babies, and have been a crafter forever. I started with rug hooking, crocheting, faux painting, and then ran my own tole painting business for years ( even cut my own pieces of wood ). Scrapbooking entered the picture about 14 years ago when I moved to Calgary. When Copics first came out I resisted - who needed another addiction LOL!!! - that lasted for a whole two months, and then I took a basic class and the rest as they say is history!! I became a Copic Certified Designer in April 2010 and LOVE everything about Copics, including experimenting with all kind of techniques, and passing my passion and knowledge on to fellow Copic lovers!!!

Okay, it's time to show off my first card -
My card features the beautiful "Mizuki" from Kraftin' Kimmie, stamped on Copic Xpress It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copics.  The background was airbrushed with the same Copic colors, then the image was cut with Spellbinders Wonky Squares.  The designer paper is from Authentique's 6 x 6 Collection - Glowing.

Thanks for joining me today, and you still have time to enter this months OCS challenge, so get creating and join in the fun!

Four Fun Fall Cards!

Today I'm sharing four fun cards for One Crazy Stamper featuring the Your Next Stamp images that were released this fall!

My first two cards feature fall images colored with Copic markers and then fussy cut.  I've been on a mission to use up designer paper scraps this week....so this is a mish mash of fall papers.
My last two cards feature some fun images again, colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and popped up on foam tape.  My ghost is shaded with a hint of BV000, though it doesn't show up in the photo.

Above are the Copic markers that I used on these cards.

Be sure you check out all of the fun new stuff Lora is adding to the store!  Also, be sure to join in our challenge this month...check out all of the rules and prize info on the One Crazy Stamper Blog!

Come and Sit for a Spell

Today I have this adorable stamp: Magical Mathilda by Kratin' Kimmie available from One Crazy Stamper. I colored Mathilda with the copics below:

I stamped my image with Memento black ink onto Xpress It card stock. I then trimmed my image and mounted it on Mischievious dp by My Mind's Eye, which was die cut by a Spellbinders Label 23 die. Bottom is a MS punch.
There is still time to play in our October challenge:
