Cheer Somebody Else

I simply adore these new images from Stamping Bella featuring Petunia the pig - who doesn't love an adorable pig!!

This cutie is Petunia Thinks She's a Prezzie and is available here at One Crazy Stamper.  I colored the image with Copic sketch markers, then cut it with a Spellbinder oval die, and matched that to one of the newer oval dies from Spellbinders to create the decorative border.  The sentiment is included with the image.  My dp is an oldie from my stash (Authentique), as is the ribbon and Prima flower.

Chicks - YR21, YR23, YR24
Bow - BG 53, BG 45, BG49

A Great Big Thank You

I have recently started fostering dogs with a local animal rescue, and wanted to design a few cards with a puppy theme to help raise funds for the rescue, so when I received this new image, I went straight to work coloring it up.

The image is Daisy and Basset, from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and is available to purchase at One Crazy Stamper here. I colored the image with Copics, then fussy cut it out, and layered on a doily die from Cheery Lynn. The dp is from Authentique's Sweetness collection and the sentiment is from my stash.

Life's a Beach

Wow, another month has flown by, but you still have a few days left this month to enter the One Crazy Stamper challenge of Anything Goes with any stamped image - no digital images are allowed!!
For the entire month the design team has been featuring images from our sponsor company - WHIMSY STAMPS, and my card today has a wonderful Elisabeth Bell image called Beauty.

Once again I have used Copic sketch markers to color the image, and then I used a Sakura Stardust pen to add highlight to the mermaid tail ( you probably can't see the shine of the fins, but it looks great ! ). I used my Grand Calibur and a Grand die to cut the shape of the card, then layered paper from Authentique's Renew collection for added color. The ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.
Card Recipe
Tail - BG70, BG72, BG75
Skin - E00, E01, E02
Shirt & Shell in Hair - Y000, Y02, Y06
Hair - E13, E15, E19, YR24

Have a great day, and be sure to enter One Crazy Stamper's challenge this month to win a fabulous prize.

Bear Hugs to You!!

It's Terrific Tuesday Time again for One Crazy Stamper, and my card this month features an adorable image from our sponsor this month which is YOUR NEXT STAMP. Be sure to check out the design team blog and then get crafting to enter this months challenge theme of ANYTHING GOES! For full details click here.

This sweet image is the YNS image Kyle the Koala Bear, which I colored with Copics. I started by coloring the body, and then using the terry towel technique with Copic Blender Solution, creating the fur texture of the bear. After completing the coloring I used a Spellbinder die to cut out and mat the image. The dp is from an older Authentique collection, while both of the sentiments are included with the image.

Card Recipe
Body - W1, W3, W5, E71
Eyes - E57, 59
Leaves - BG93, BG96, BG99

Check out the rest of the design teams wonderful creations using the YOUR NEXT STAMP company images, and don't forget to leave us some comments as we all like to receive feedback on our work.

A Kiss Please!!!

Terrific Tuesday is here again, which means that I get to show you my project here at One Crazy Stamper, and this month's Anything Goes challenge is so much fun to play along with. This card was actually suppose to be for next months challenge theme ( and no I am not telling you what is, but maybe you can guess ), but while coloring on Friday night with my coloring buddies, I realized just how many stamps I have waiting to be colored yet, so I just had to share with you! Isn't she just the cutest!!!

This is "Kisses", a delightful image from Penny Black and the talented artist Mo Manning!! I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. After fussy cutting her ( which I seem to do an awful lot of ), she is pop dotted on to the card front that I created using a Martha Stewart punch around the page border punch, and dp from Authentique's Lovely collection. Don't you just want to lean down and receive a big wet kiss from this little sweetheart.
Please take a few minutes to visit the creative design teams creations, then get creative, and enter to win an awesome prize by following the Anything Goes challenge theme.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!  I hope that today finds you healthy, happy and surrounded by those you love!!
For today's post, I have once again combined both challenge themes to make this wonderful card celebrating the special meaning of today's holiday!

This sweet Whimsy stamp image is called "Christmas Choir Boy" and I've colored him and his singing companions with Copics.  The dp is from Authentique's Festive collection, the treble clef is a Memory Box die, and the sentiment is from Whimsy stamps Holiday Notables 1.

There are still a few days left to enter the challenge here to win three wonderful stamps, so click on the link at the top of this blog to see all the details.

Good Company!

I have a very Victorian feel card for you today for you today for One Crazy Stamper.

I used some beautiful dies for today's card on some tan cardstock.    The edge die is Lace Light Deco Border from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The oval is the Lacey Oval CR1204 from Mariann Design.

For a fun touch I threaded some pink/white bakers twine through circular holes on the oval die.  A simple tip for you....use a dab of glue to twist the *needle end* of your thread...and it is simple to sew through the holes with  no fraying tip!

Papers are from Authentique's Lively collection.  I colored the image from Flourishes set From The Desk Of with Prismacolor Pencils.

I used papers from Authentique's Lively Collection and some Chocolate Lime Candi Embellishments.

Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder

Hello One Crazy Stamper followers,

I'm the new kid in town, having just been invited to join the wonderful design team for One Crazy Stamper, and I am so excited and honored to be a part of this great team!!  I had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer here in June and loved it, so this is going to be so much fun.  Here's a short bio:
I am mom to two adults and 4 fur babies, and have been a crafter forever. I started with rug hooking, crocheting, faux painting, and then ran my own tole painting business for years ( even cut my own pieces of wood ). Scrapbooking entered the picture about 14 years ago when I moved to Calgary. When Copics first came out I resisted - who needed another addiction LOL!!! - that lasted for a whole two months, and then I took a basic class and the rest as they say is history!! I became a Copic Certified Designer in April 2010 and LOVE everything about Copics, including experimenting with all kind of techniques, and passing my passion and knowledge on to fellow Copic lovers!!!

Okay, it's time to show off my first card -
My card features the beautiful "Mizuki" from Kraftin' Kimmie, stamped on Copic Xpress It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copics.  The background was airbrushed with the same Copic colors, then the image was cut with Spellbinders Wonky Squares.  The designer paper is from Authentique's 6 x 6 Collection - Glowing.

Thanks for joining me today, and you still have time to enter this months OCS challenge, so get creating and join in the fun!
