Snow Traveller

Terrific Tuesday time again for One Crazy Stamper, and this time I have colored up the image Jet Setter by Whimsy Stamps artist Kenny K.
The image is colored with Copics, then cut and matted with Spellbinders Label 14 dies. The dp's are both from Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain collection, sentiment is from the Flourishes Snow Days set, and the snowflake die border is from Whimsy Stamps.

Good Company!

I have a very Victorian feel card for you today for you today for One Crazy Stamper.

I used some beautiful dies for today's card on some tan cardstock.    The edge die is Lace Light Deco Border from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The oval is the Lacey Oval CR1204 from Mariann Design.

For a fun touch I threaded some pink/white bakers twine through circular holes on the oval die.  A simple tip for you....use a dab of glue to twist the *needle end* of your thread...and it is simple to sew through the holes with  no fraying tip!

Papers are from Authentique's Lively collection.  I colored the image from Flourishes set From The Desk Of with Prismacolor Pencils.

From the Desk of and Spellbinders Bossabilities Product Review.

Hi All! For my last birthday card for this month,I have used the stamp From the Desk of by Flourishes and a new Spellbinders product called the M- Bossabilities Embossing Folder.

M-Bossabilities Embossing Folder - Enchanted

These new M-Bossabilities Embossing Folders from Spellbinders are amazing. As each folder has two detailed designs they are reversible and therefore more versatile. They only need to be run through the Cuttlebug once and the recipe is Plate A, cardstock inside the folder, 3 pieces of cardstock as a shim, then plate C (these are the instrustions from Spellbinders). I did it twice; the first time with the shim, and the second time without the shim and achieved the exact same results. It is certainly well worth the money as you get two embossing folders for the price of one.

For the above card I trimmed it down to size and then distressed it using the Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

LinkSupplies used:

A Vintage Greeting!

I have a vintage greeting to share with you this morning!! This image is from the Flourishes set From The Desk Of. It is one of the smaller images in the set, but I just love flowers and books...it's so *me!*

I colored the image with Copic markers shown below:

I framed my image with a Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangle die. I used some Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to distress my image before removing it from the die.

Be Joyful!

I've not had time to do this image from Flourishes' Beauty Within set up with glitter and acetate yet. It was worth the wait!

I stamped the image with Stazon ink on acetate. On the reverse side of the image, I colored the acetate with the Copic Markers shown below.

Next I ran the image through the Xyron machine and covered the back with silver glitter. I used Spellbinders Labels Thirteen dies to frame my image.

Just a reminder....the One Crazy Stamper challenge this month is flowers! If you have time, join us for the fun! There is a generous gift certificate to One Crazy Stamper for a random participant. Good Luck!!

Thankful

Hi

I do apologize for being late with my post. It has been a roller coaster of a week, but I am very thankful that grandchild #6 who decided to arrive nine weeks early is doing well.

For my card today, I used the Iris from the Year of Flowers - Set 2 by Flourishes and the Ticket Sentiments from Whimsy Stamps.

Listen With Your Heart

I've been waiting to do this image up....but now that the snow drifts have disappeared and I am seeing peeks of green in my flower gardens, I decided it's time! Some of the first flowers to bloom are my mini iris...they are so vibrant and are a welcom sight after a Wisconsin winter!

The set is Beauty Within by Flourishes. I stamped my images with Memento ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The sentiment is also from this set.

Copic colors: YG13, YG17, YG67, V09, V15, V17, B00, B02

I cut the image out and then layered it on a Spellbinders Labels Thirteen die. My ribbon is heated with a heat gun to crinkle it up.

I stamped the oval that surrounds my word from the Fancy Accents Spellbinders Compatible Set and cut it out.

The designer paper is BasicGrey's Kioshi collection which I ran through the Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder. I sanded the embossing to highlight it a bit futher.

You still have time to hop in and join us for our monthly challenge...there is a gift certificate on the line for a lucky participant. Maybe it will be You!

Originally I designed this mini booklet to store some tea bags in as a little girlfriend gift. This mini booklet I changed up a little to place seeds in from my garden to give to people who enjoy my plants in my garden. I have written up and made a diagram for all to print off and to create this fun booklet. Click here to download directions.

More Beauty Within!

I have a clean and simple card to share today. I'm loving the Flourishes set Beauty Within. I mis-stamped an image, and if you know me, you know I don't like to toss anything!!

For this technique, I stamp my images on *acetate* which is actually re-purposed packaging. Anything that comes in a clear package, that is not all scratched up, goes into my acetate scraps bin. I stamp my images on the acetate with Stazon ink....and noone knows that I'm being *green!*

So, even though I mis-stamped my image on the scrap acetate, I decided to salvage the rose and cut it out of the image to use as my focal point. I had an extra piece of the Technique Tuesday lace border that I had glittered for last week's card laying handy on my desk....so I decided to go with a clean and simple card with the same elements.

I cut a Spellbinders Labels Five die down to frame my rose and glittered the edge with Art Institute glitter. I used the Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder for an elegant backdrop for my rose.

Happy New Year Wishes to you all!
