Gofer Christmas Greetings

Who doesn't love an adorable little gopher wishing you a very Sparkly Christmas!!!  I just had to color up this cutie from High Hopes Rubber Stamps newest release Woodsy Christmas.

This is Christmas Gofer that I colored with Copic markers.  After fussy cutting the image I added sparkle with touches of a silver glitter pen, white highlights with a Sakura glaze pen, 3D berries made with white and red pearl pens, snow with Liquid Applique, some fun flock on the hat, and then to finish off the whole image I sprayed it with Shimmer Spritz (sure wish the glitter showed on this photo).

The sentiment is also from High Hopes Rubber stamps and is available here.  A red snowflake cut using an older Memory Box die from my stash finishes off the card front.

Singing Moose and Beaver!!

I'll admit it - I'm a bit of a planner, so I make Christmas cards year round in the hopes that I will have a stack to send out come December.  Of course it never fails though - I get a bunch made and someone buys them all in November so once again I have none - sigh!

This card features one of my all time favorite images from High Hopes Rubber Stamps because who doesn't love a moose and a beaver!  This is Mudzie and Chopper's Caroling (S205) available here.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored it with Inktense pencils and a water brush.  All of the edges of the papers were distressed with the Prima Comfort Distress Tool and then inked with a Antique Linen ink pad.  The treble clef die is from my stash, and the sentiment was printed right on the ribbon - bonus!!

Christmas in White

Time to create an all white card with the monthly theme from One Crazy Stamper of Christmas. I don't make all white cards very often, but when they turn out as well as this one did, I often think why not do this a lot more!

The card starts with a white card base layered with a front created by using a Sizzix embossing folder to create depth. Over that I have layered a white ribbon, and a Spellbinder die shape that features an all white Memory Box die called "Glowing Candles". The sentiment was stamped with Versa Mark embossing ink, then embossed with a white emboss powder, while the edges were lightly inked with a silver ink pad. Simple yet elegant!

Spring Fairy

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday for One Crazy Stamper, and since the theme for this months challenge is flowers, I have designed this card with an abundance of bright colorful spring flowers.

I have used Rangers Distress Ink reinkers, and a water brush to color this cute Young Spring Fairy image from Whimsy Stamps. The image was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink on water color paper, colored and fussy cut, then placed on some older My Minds Eye designer paper. The border of flowers is the Memory Box Spring border die, which I cut from several colors of cardstock to get the various colors of flowers. The ribbon, charm and sentiment are all from my stash.

Spring is a Day Away!!!!

Tomorrow is the first day of spring, so to celebrate the return of the nicer weather, and the glorious anticipation of flowers I made this bright, cheerful easel card.

This is Bella Sole Collecting Daisies from Whimsy Stamps artist Elizabeth Bell.  I have stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored it with Copics.  The image was cut and matted with Spellbinders Label 14, and popped up on the card base that was cut with a Spellbinder Grand Label Four die.  The greenery was cut with both a Memory Box Leafy Branch die, and a Memory Box Madera Corner die, cut apart and layered.

The interior of the easel card features a Spellbinder Tag die with a birthday sentiment, and flowers punched out of yellow vellum.  All of the flower centers are made with the Viva Decor Dark Brown Pearl Pen.
There are still several days left to create a project to enter the challenge here at One Crazy Stamper - the theme is Anything Goes!!
