Pretty in Blue

Have you ever purchased an image, then when you get home you were not sure why?  This image is one of those, but when I finished coloring and putting it all together it has quickly become one of the favorites.   So welcome Casey to my post for One Crazy Stamper.

This gorgeous image is Casey from Saturated Canary.  I colored her with Copics to match the gorgeous paper from Kaisercraft, then paired it all with denim and burlap ribbon, and some older Prima flowers with micro bead centers.  Hand drawn stitches finish off the card front.

Countdown begins!

So today I have something a little different to show you for my One Crazy Stamper blog post - this is one of three advent calendars that I completed last month for friends and family.  I apologize for the poor quality photo, but I needed to get this one delivered before the end of November so that it could be mailed out, and as usual I didn't finish it until the last moment.

The base of the calendar is an older Kaisercraft kit, that you assemble and then decorate with your choice of paper, ink and embellishments.  After painting all of the pieces I choose dp from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection to decorate all of the boxes and the sides of the calendar.  All of the edges were inked with  Versafine Vintage Sepia, then the fun began.  I used a mix of embellishments to decorate the individual boxes including ribbon, brads, charms, buttons, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Countdown Charms, while the center scene was built with Tim Holtz bottle brush trees, and a bird bath ornament.  To finish off the scene I used Art Institute Clear Glue to add Floracraft Twinklets Diamond Dust throughout to imitate snow.

Santa's on His Way

It's Terrific Tuesday for One Crazy Stamper, and we are right in the middle of the monthly challenge theme of CHRISTMAS cards, so I'm here to show you my next creation using a new High Hopes Stamp called "Road Trippin' Santa".

I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it up with Copic Sketch Markers. The fur on Santa's outfit received some Polar White Flower Soft, the candy centers of the tires of the car were coated with Stardust Stickles, and red, green and gold Viva Decor Pearl Pens highlight the berries, leaves and scroll on the car! The dp is from Kaisercraft, and the snowflake is the Lindeman Snowflake die from Memory Box.

Winged Beauty

Good morning, and welcome to Terrific Tuesday for One Crazy Stamper! The monthly challenge theme for April is Black and White plus one other color, and you still have a week to get creative and enter the challenge to win an awesome prize!

This week I have once again colored with my Copics, and then used Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol to add depth to this image - Wind Beneath My Wings from Whimsy Stamps artist Crissy Armstrong. The image was cut and matted with Spellbinders Labels Twenty Eight, Star Dust Stickles were added to the wings and ribbons and Kaiser Craft Flowers were added to the card front.

To Have and Hold

This is my last Terrific Tuesday post here at One Crazy Stamper for the month of March, and I have another card to show you today. This one features the Wee Stamps image "Love Me Do", by Sylvia Zet.

As usual I have colored the image with Copics, then matted it with a beautiful bronze paper from my stash. The dp is from Kaisercraft's Forget Me Not collection, and the flowers, punches, and ribbon are all from my stash. All of the flowers sparkle with a coat of Stickles Stardust.
