Have you ever purchased an image, then when you get home you were not sure why?  This image is one of those, but when I finished coloring and putting it all together it has quickly become one of the favorites.   So welcome Casey to my post for One Crazy Stamper.

This gorgeous image is Casey from Saturated Canary.  I colored her with Copics to match the gorgeous paper from Kaisercraft, then paired it all with denim and burlap ribbon, and some older Prima flowers with micro bead centers.  Hand drawn stitches finish off the card front.

A Birthday Song

Time flies by so fast, and by now I should be settled into my new home - I doubt that all the boxes are unpacked yet, but the animals and myself should be getting use to the place and the new routine! Today I have another card for this month's challenge theme of Flowers here at One Crazy Stamper.

This little sweetheart is one of the newer images from Crafters Companion Angelica and Friends line and is entitled Grace. I have colored her with Copics, then matted and mounted her on dp from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss line. The small banner and the butterfly were cut from another piece of the Vintage Bliss paper, the flowers are from Prima, and the sentiment is included with the image. I finally recycled the packaging from some of my Prima flowers - the white doily is actually cut from the hard acrylic backing that the flowers come on.
You still have a couple of days to enter the monthly challenge to win a fabulous prize package, and if you leave a comment on my card today, you have the chance to win this stamp set! Deadline to leave a comment is June 2, and I will announce the winner on my post here on June 4!!!

The Secret Gardener

Tomorrow is moving day for me - so I am scheduling this post a whole month in advance. I am hoping that when this card goes live, spring will have finally arrived here in Alberta, and that the spring flowers are in full bloom. The theme for this months challenge here at One Crazy Stamper is Flowers, and this card fits the bill perfectly.

This gorgeous young lady is Gardener Gayle from Saturated Canary, which I have colored with Copics. The image was then cut with one of the newest Spellbinders dies called Opulent Ovals, then the edges and background were inked with the Antique Linen Distress Ink Pad. The card front has layers of designer paper from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection, and various Prima flowers. The centers of the lily of the valley flowers all received a bead of Frosted Lace Stickles.

Dreaming of Spring

Surprise!!!
As a last minute favor for Design team member Aaemie I get to post another card this week, and it's a bright spring colored card to finally celebrate the arrival of spring here in Alberta. ( Shhhhh, don't say it too loud, or the winter fairies might just decide to return and share a few more flakes of snow - horror!!! )

This adorable little dragon is taking a well deserved nap and dreaming of all of the pretty flowers soon to arrive. I have colored up Dreamy Dragon from Whimsy Stamps artist Sylvia Zet with my Copics, then added Icicle Stickles to the flowers for that extra shimmer and shine. The image was cut and matted with the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles die. Paper flowers are all from my stash of Prima, while the flower centers are either Kaiser rhinestones, pearls made with the Cream Viva Decor Pearl Pen, or cream Kaiser self adhesive pearls.
