Where Flowers grow....!!!!

Hi Crafty Peeps;

It is now officially Spring as of Sunday, and according to the Weather Network we are having rain and snow later in the week.  So Winter isn't done with us yet.  Supposedly, there is the saying for March, that it either comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb or vice versa.  Time will time.

For my post today for OCS, I have used the stamp called Flowers Grow... from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

Supplies used:
There is still time to enter this month's "Anything Goes" Challenge.  As One Crazy Stamper and High Hopes Rubber Stamps will be attending SCRAPFEST on April 8th & 9th, do try and stop by.

Until next time, Happy Crafting

Hugs,

A week of Green celebrations -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, Happy Friday! It's been a week of Irish celebrations and I wanted to share some yummy treats!
These cupcake toppers were made with High Hopes stamp called  Leapin Leprechaun and he can be found here!

The image was stamped in Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and fussy cut. I hot glued a toothpick onto the back of the image to stick into the cupcakes.
Nice and easy. I decided not to colour the image as I wanted a contrast of various shades of greens for an  Irish feel!
Leapin Leprechaun  is a must have stamp for this time of year. He's just so festive, I will be using him every year for sure!
A shaker card made last year....
A little pot of gold design too ....

Have a fantastic weekend!

Crafting

I belong to quite a few card making groups on Facebook and I have alot of friends who craft. Not only do these groups and friends provide inspiration, they also provide a laugh or a chuckle once and awhile.

This saying has been floating around for a couple weeks now and although I changed the last line......well, some days this saying is true!

Meet Ironing Irma from High Hopes Stamps and I feel like she would like to be crafting rather then ironing!

                                                         Donna

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers, added some glitter to her earrings and dress button and fussy cut her. I used a border from Tattered Lace to cut the bottom out of my cardstock base. I chose to use patterned paper from The Sweetest Thing from MME. A die cut corner, ribbon from my stash and some glittery gumdrops finish off my card.

Bunny Blooms!

Hi All!
Todays Easter card is using the adorable High Hopes Stamp called "Bunny Blooms".
I used up papers from my "Easter" stash. I love the bright spring colours! Once again I used my bottle of Copic Blender solutions and a piece of an old washcloth and gently dabbed it onto the bunnies fur. It helps to add texture to your image. I added Clear Glitter Wink of Stella on the tulips.
The "Easter Greetings" sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps.
Copics Used:
Bunny: E23, E25, E27, E29, R01, R20

Hi there, I'm back again to say Happy Friday and to share a little card using High Hopes Part Time Gardener found here!
I wanted to give this card a Vintage feel  with tiny floral printed paper and soft colours. The paper is stitched and distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage photo ink. Taps of white acrylic paint on a sponge for some extra texture.
This Gals dimples are created using a White Sharpie Marker . Aso added some Spring rosettes and a mini cotton ball for the bunnies tail :)
The image is coloured with the following Copic Markers..

My Anchor

It's no secret, I am an animal lover. When I saw this stamp from High Hopes I just had to have it! This little guy is so cute sitting here fishing and just hanging out with his dog.

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers added some navy blue and white card stock behind it. Silver brads from my stash were added to the corners. I used some paper from the Making Waves Collection from Fancy Pants and Adrift from Basic Grey. The anchor was stamped from the Float My Boat set from Lawn Fawn and fussy cut. The sentiment is from this set as well. I stamped it and used a fishtail banner die from Your Next Stamp to cut it out. Ribbon from American Craft and some white gumdrops from Your Next Stamp finish it off.

Polaroid Buddies!

Hi!
Today I wanted to Share with you a card I made using the High Hopes Stamp image called "Peeking Spring Buddies"! Easter is just around the corner and this stamp makes the perfect Easter card!
I like love spring papers and the Echo Park "Spring" 6x6 collection is so cute! I love the pastel shades! I decided to use my MFT Die-namics Precious Polaroid die on this card. I also embossed the frames with my Polka dot embossing folder. A bit of lace and enamel dots and it's complete!
I like to sometimes try to use my stamps in different ways. The original "Peeking Spring Buddies" has the 3 characters in a row. I inked up each character separately and stamped them on a scrap piece of paper. Then if there was any ink spots I used my liquid paper to "erase" them.  I photocopied the images onto Copic paper, coloured them and cut them out. Now I can add them to the frames. Sometimes when you "think outside the box" it opens up more uses for your stamps!
I popped the bunny paper and each polaroid image up with foam squares for added dimension!
On the inside I used the High Hopes "Easter Greetings" sentiment.
Copics Used:
Bunny: T0, T1, T3, R11, BG11, BG32, R83, R85, YG23, YG25, Y17, white gel pen(polka dots)
Chick: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, Y38, BG11, R11
Duck: Y000, Y00, Y02, YR02, YR04, R11

It's the start of a new Challenge for March over at One Crazy Stamper on their Blog called "Anything Goes". Create something fabulous and enter to win!

Happy Stamping!
