Aging is Mandatory!

Hi Everyone!
WOW...the last Saturday of August post over at One Crazy Stamper! Where did August go?? Today I am sharing with you a cute interactive swing card using the Art Impressions stamp set called "Maturing set". I love this set and it would also make a perfect card to give as a group to someone!
This stamp set is perfect for anyone who loves to colour! There is a lot of detail to it and I find it super relaxing when I can just sit and colour!

I am using paper from the Simple Stories "So Rad" collection. I also cut out some balloons and popped up two of them. I attached them to the sentiment that comes in the set with some twine.

The Maturing set  comes with the front and back images and there is a matching die set that makes it super easy to match up your images perfectly!

I used a black gel pen on their eyes and buttons and Crystal Stickles on the balloons.

Just to Let You Know.....

I probably shouldn't tell you this but I almost forgot to post a card for today.  Blame it on school!!  I spent the entire day at student orientation in downtown Calgary, learning all the ins and outs for the course I am starting next week, and by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was relax, so................ it is now 11pm my time and I just remembered to do this post.

This sweet image is another fabulous image from Stamping Bella featuring Petunia the pig and new chick friends - Nice to See You Petunia available here.  And before you ask, yes the u is missing from the sentiment because you are missing "U".  The image was colored with Copics, then fussy cut and put on a background that I created with some Copic Various Ink refills and Colorless Blender solution.  The glasses that the animals are all wearing received a coat of Judikins Diamond Glaze to replicate the look of real glass.

Chicks - Y11, Y15, Y17

Coffee Lovers treat! -- Your Next Stamp

I'm a total  coffee fan and could have fun using  YNS Sprinkles Coffee and Tea StampYNS Sprinkles Coffee and Tea Die,  set all day long! Decided to package up some coffee pods for a friend that's a fellow java lover!
Created a box with the help of a spellbinder scallop die and used bakers twine to secure the lid  and tags together.  The window was made with a clear acetate sheet so it's easy to view the coffee flavors! The box has been stamped with various sentiments from this set to create the look of pattern paper.
Super quick and easy treat ....I just might have to make a lemon  zucchini loaf to add to this package of goodies!

Thanks so much for checking out my creation. Wishing you an awesome day!
