Kovu & Hootie!

Howdy OCS Peeps!

Today I wanted to share with you a card I created using the High Hopes stamp called "Kovu & Hootie"! These cute friends sure look like they are having fun playing in the snow!

I used paper from the Doodlebug "Here Comes Santa Clause" 6x6 collection! I love the bright fun colours and patterns Doodlebug designs! The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Cold Hands Script". A few enamel dots and some liquid appliqué finish off my card today.

On my decorate inside I used the HH sentiment called "Sparkle & Cheer".

Today I am showing off "Kovu and Hootie" from the Christmas/Winter release from High Hopes Stamps. These 2 are so adorable and I was picturing the nice cold temperatures of winter while sitting in my HOT office this week creating - hoping for some reprieve from the heat soon! And a bit of rain would be good too - the crops need a drink!!

This card is part of a card kit that I purchased from Lora's One Crazy Stamper store - you can check out the details HERE! 

The pair were  colored with Copic Markers then layered using the directions in the kit....

Sparkle and Cheer

Happy New Year One Crazy Stamper Fans! 

The hustle and bustle of Christmas is technically over but if you're like me, I don't get to see some of the special people in my life until after Christmas.

My god daughter is one of those special people who I will see soon. 

She loves hedgehogs so I used the "Kovu and Hootie" stamp from the new Woodland Friends new release at High Hopes for her Christmas card. 

Bear with me......this is my last Christmas card to share <smile> for now.

Inside

I coloured these cuties using alcohol markers and then cut them out with a circle die. A white gel pen added some polka dots to their scarves and cheeks and some Hero Arts glitter added some bling to the snow. 

Next, I dusted off my Cricut to cut out the red background with a scallop edge to mount my circle on. This was added to some fun plaid paper and a ribbon and some sparkly gumdrops finish it off. 

I added some plaid paper to the outside edge and finished off the inside leaving just enough room to include a personal, handwritten message.
