Be Your Best Donkey

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Sunday. My favorite day of the stamping week, because I get to share a little inspiration with you.

This week, my feature is Be a Donkey. This adorable guy and his chicken friend are ready for your stamping projects.

You can find him in the High Hopes Rubber Stamps store. While you're there, check out the Sending Smiles sentiment used here and that adorable Sm. Sunnie. Sunnie can be found in two sizes in the store.

Get Ready for Canada Day!

Hello Everyone. Heather here, and I'm getting ready for Canada Day!

It's a little more than a week away, which means it's a great time for a little bit of Canadiana. With Canadian roots, High Hopes Rubber Stamps has an adorable inventory of themed stamps and sentiments for Canada Day. This one, Canadian Friends, is one of my favorites!

This image comes in two sizes. This one is the smaller one in the inventory (R069) and is about 2.5" x 3.0" in size. If you're looking for the slightly larger version, you can find it here. I didn't have any of the more appropriate Canada Day sentiments, so I chose to use Sending Smiles. Because really, who doesn't smile at that adorable beaver!

Looking for something for the Fourth of July? High Hopes also has some US themed images and sentiments.

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Sending Smiles!

Hello OCS Fans!
It's my turn to share some creative fun over on the  One Crazy Stamper Blog! I decided to use this oldie but cutie called "Raggedy Ann-ouncement". I love that her "sign" comes blank and you can add whatever sentiment to it that you want. I added the HH "Sending Smiles" sentiment.
I used a fun bright colour palette on this card! It just makes me feel happy and that summer is around the corner. My Paper is from the American Crafts Sunny 6x6 collection (older one from my stash). I added a double heart border, a cute heart tag, heart die and ribbon with a butterfly brad added to it.
Here you can see the dimension I added by using foam squares.
My decorated inside using the HH Sentiment called "Thank You For Being A Friend"
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E21, E11, R20
Hair & Shoes: N5, N9
Dress & Bow: RV14, RV17, RV19
Wood Sign: E42, E43, E44, E47

Dragonfly Smiles

I can never have enough cards in my stash to send to friends and family who are going through tough times.
I love being able to send a smile or hug in the mail!

I think Lg. J's Dragonfly fits the bill to bring a smile to someone - especially with those heart shaped cheeks! She definitely makes me smile!

I coloured this cutie with alcohol markers and hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white edge then popped her up with foam pop dots. I added some dots to her cheeks with a white gel pen and because I like a little sparkly somewhere on my cards, I added some clear sparkle pen to the hearts in the wings.

I set her aside and die cut a cloud and grabbed my dauber and ink to create my sky background. Next I cut it to size and put it in my trusty Misti to stamp the sentiment in the perfect spot. I lightly drew the dashes with a pencil and then went over them with black marker once I was happy with their placement. Some twine and gumdrops finish off this fun, CAS style card.

I popped the image up with some foam squares and added a few enamel dots for a bit of interest. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Sending Smiles".
