Leo Meets Lana

Tell me... where on earth did January go?  It seems like I blinked and it was gone but I guess that also means winter is flying by which makes me happy.  

These name of this cute little turtle stamp is Leo Meets Lana and the sentiment is Love Never Fails.  With Valentine's Day swiftly approaching, I thought this would be a perfect time to use them.

Just Married!

Hello OCS Fans!

Don't you love a good Wedding! There is something about seeing a Bride that just gives me a "warm & fuzzy" feeling! This is "Just Married" from High Hopes Stamps. Off the Happily Married couple goes to start their new life together!

I decided to use paper from the Simple Stories The Story of Us 6x6 collection! I love the blacks and golds in this collection. I used the HH "Love Never Fails" sentiment on the front along with a few YNS Gold Gumdrops. You can't tell in the picture but the light grey parts on the card are actually coloured with Wink of Stella's Silver glitter pen. The bride and her flowers have Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on them as well.

I used die cuts from the SS The Story of Us Bits & Pieces set on the inside.

I am happy to have one more card to share this month using a super cute image from the new Live, Love, Laugh release at High Hopes. 
Sometimes a month isn't enough time to play with all the fun new images in a new release! 


Today's card introduces you to "Kovu & Fred" and the "Love Never Fails" sentiment. This image and sentiment are perfect not only for Valentine's Day but for a card for a friend or a spring theme - so many options..so little time <smile>

I coloured my stamp with alcohol markers then cut it out using a stitched oval die. Some pale blue clouds were added using a cloud die cut and some ink. The sentiment was stamped and cut out using a stitched square die. Some pink hearts, twine and my favourite - gumdrops - were added to finish off my card.
