Bunny with Blooms!

Hello and Happy Friday!!!  Today I have a very special card to share with you. I just want you to know that I am sooooo happy with how this image turned out, I hope that you agree and that maybe inspired you with this card....

Cheer Somebody Else

I simply adore these new images from Stamping Bella featuring Petunia the pig - who doesn't love an adorable pig!!

 

This cutie is Petunia Thinks She's a Prezzie and is available here at One Crazy Stamper.  I colored the image with Copic sketch markers, then cut it with a Spellbinder oval die, and matched that to one of the newer oval dies from Spellbinders to create the decorative border.  The sentiment is included with the image.  My dp is an oldie from my stash (Authentique), as is the ribbon and Prima flower.

Something Different!

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Wednesday is here again and I hope you enjoyed the Easter Weekend with your family.  We are having an "Anything Goes" challenge here at OCS for the month of April.  For my post today, I have the new Lotus stamp from IndigoBlu and used a technique that I haven't used for quite some time.

I used some gold embossing powder and heat embossed the image, then added some colour to the background using the Tea Dye Distress Ink from Ranger.  Scor Pal Tape (1/4") was used to create a border around the edge and some Lancashire Rose Mega Flakes from IndigoBlu was added.  I didn't add a sentiment at this time as I couldn't decide what the card could be used for.

Botanical Black & White

Hello crafty friends, today I have a lovely black and white creation for you all. I used a Heartfelt stamp and paired that with the coordinating die. For my card today I didn't do any colouring, added a bunch of dies, glitter, and a big bow of course.

My Best Friend

Welcome back today I have a CAS card for our challenge here at One Crazy Stamper you can play along with the challenge. Anything Goes. The image I am using is from the High Hopes Rubber Stamps company and my little hedge hog friend is called My Best Friend.  I decided to make a Clean And Simple card with this image, so you can see friends, I can do it, just not often.  Wink, wink!  I have added some paper piercing along the edges of the white card stock, and I used some bling to flags or pennants at the bottom.  Of course color the image with copic markers.

Hi OCS Fans!

 There's no other feeling like a relaxing bath to treat yourself! I mean who doesn't love a bubble bath and especially with a glass of wine! Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the 

Stamping Bella Uptown Girl called "Bubbles Loves Bubbly"

I used papers from the Echo Park Collection Bundle of Joy "New Addition" and the matching "Dots and Stripes". I stamped and coloured my image with my Copic markers. For a fun element, I paper pieced the tub. Then I fussy cut out the image and used foam squares to pop it up for some added dimension. I used some dies from my stash to help make the layout of this card come to life. Of course I had to add some sparkle, so I used my clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on the bubbles and gold Wink of Stella on the tub feet. 

For the sentiment inside, I searched Pinterest for a quote and printed it out with my printer. I cut some more die cuts and added them to the inside of the card to finish it off.

I Wuff You

Ha!  I love this sweet little sentiment that comes with the puppy in the Woof Set from Art Impressions.  This is one of the Ai Zoo Babies - and Lora has all four Zoo Babies in the OCS store, so you'll want to check them out!  I decided to do something different with today's cards, as I'm usually a bit of a patterned paper junkie.  I love all the watercoloured backgrounds that I'm seeing on people's blogs, so I cut some small rectangles of watercolour paper, grabbed some of my mini Distress Inks and got to work.  Here's what I came up with:

 The first card uses Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks.  I tapped each ink onto a clear acrylic block which I used as my watercolour palette.  Then I dipped my paintbrush into clean water and wet the cardstock.  With a slightly damp brush, I picked up the Raspberry (pink) ink and dabbed it three or four times onto the wet area of the paper.  The ink immediately started to spread wherever the paper was wet.  After cleaning the brush, I then picked up the Mustard (yellow) ink and did the same thing.  You can see the areas where the two colours met and blended - forming an orange shade.  I love the randomness of the pattern!  The ink will only go where the paper is wet, which allows you to have some control.

The second card uses Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed again.  I love watching the colours blend!  And if you don't find the colours to be deep enough, you simply drop more ink onto the paper until you achieve a colour that you're happy with.  You'll get the best results if you remember how we all learned about the colour wheel in school... red + yellow = orange, blue + yellow = green etc.  But I encourage you to get out your Distress Inks or a set of watercolours, and play! 

 I coloured the puppies with Copic markers, picking up the colours of the background for their ribbons.  Then I fussy cut them out, and popped them up on pop dots.  Here's what you can find in the OCS store:

Spring has arrived here in southern Alberta - beautiful weather, plants are peeking out of the soil and the garden is calling my name. 

 

 

For my post for One Crazy Stamper today I have colored up this adorable Stampendous image called Sharing which is available here.  Once the image was stamped on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I used Copic markers to color it.  The image was matted and placed on a card front that features paper, ribbon and a sentiment all from my stash.
