Dancing to the Beat

Welcome back to my blog post. My card was fun to create as I haven't made a boy card in a while, and I sure do enjoy creating.  My stamp I am showcasing today for the Spring Release High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

I am one of the DT's here at One Crazy Stamper and my turn to share today.  I hope you get a chance to check out what the other DT's are creating and as well stop by Lora's store to see all the new stamps and supplies.  Till next time, happy crafting.

It's a High Hopes Owlfest!

Owlstravaganza?  Owl-a-bration?  It's everything owls today here on the One Crazy Stamper and High Hopes blogs.  I know you've all seen the new High Hopes stamps that were released on April 1st, along with all the wonderful cards & inspiration from the Design Teams (and it will continue!).  If you've been shopping in the store, you may have come across the adorable owls - there are six of them, plus a range of accessories and sentiments that go with them.  I've been colouring like crazy this week, and have six cards to share with you today.  *If you're in Kitchener, Ontario this weekend at Scrapfest - stop by the One Crazy Stamper/High Hopes booth, and you can see the cards in person and pick up a few owls to take home with you!
There are the snuggling owls, a sleeping owl, three single owls, and the owl trio.  *Take another look at the branch, the tree stump, the balloons, party hat and hair bow - these are the accessory stamps (not shown are a bowtie & some spectacles).  Oh, the possibilities!!  And... if these adorable stamps aren't enough - there are SVG cut files available in the OCS/HH stores for each image in the new release, you get an outline image that you can stamp on, plus a large outline to use as a mat (none of them are shown here, I fussy cut by hand).

You make my heart sing! -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, I'm back again to share another card made with the new release from High Hopes stamps.
Lots of layers and stitches can be found on this design! This new release has captured my heart for sure ! I love the images and creating a woodland scene around this gal and her puppy!
 Coloured with Copics #'s ...

Slam Dunk Birthday

Happy Thursday OCS fans! I have a masculine card to share with you today featuring "Slam Dunk" from the High Hopes Spring 2016 Collection new release. I hope you get a chance to pop by the website and check out this release. It is full of fun, cute images and new svg files. I chose to make this as an easel card and popped the image up with pop dots.

I started by cutting the svg file for this stamp and then stamping it using my Misti. I created my easel base and made a "crowd" in the background using my SN pencils. I wanted them to be "blurred" out like they are in the distance. I chose some wood paper and after googling the lines on a basketball court, added them to my paper. The sentiment was created on my computer. A few black gumdrops finish off my card.

Blooming Friends!

Hi OCS Fans!
I hope you have been as excited as I've been with all the cards from the Design Team showing the New Spring 2016 Release of High Hopes Stamps! Aren't all the images just the cutest things ever!! Today I am showing you a card I designed using the new stamp called "Blooming Friends". That little Hedgehog just melts my heart!
I decided to "go out of my box" and try a different hair colour for  change! It started out to be more pink but then a "blob" of dark ink happened! Don't you just hate when that happens?! I decided to challenge myself to continue to use my image and try to fix it rather than just toss it aside! I'm quite happy with the more burgundy hair colour that resulted! I added Clear Wink of Stella to her hair for a different look as well (hard to see in picture). I'm using paper from the Bo Bunny Believe collection, with a little twine and a few enamel dots as embellishments to finish everything off.
The inside sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Springtime Joy Script".
