A Blue Tail

Hello my crafty peeps, today I have a cute card and little story to go along with it. But first the card breakdown, I'm using Bonnie by Whimsy that was coloured with copics and prismas. I used the ever so beautiful Elegant paper pad by Authentique and a few memory box dies. So on to the story, the other night while colouring and just starting her hair my marker decided to leave a big ol juicy blob. First I tried to use a colourless blender, which didn't work. Then I grabbed my copic liner, drew on a few extra hair stands and coloured them in and managed to save the image! Not bad huh?

Picture Perfect!

Hello and Happy Friday!  Wow what a week we had here in Southern Ontario!  I sure hope that you are dug out of all the snow that was dummped on us! 

Today I have an altered item  - a wooden picture frame to show you that I made using the wonderful new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called, Ciara &Sandy. 

As soon as I saw this image I thought of me and my baby girl Lilli, so I went ahead and coloured the image like us.  I purchased a raw wood frame and I stained the outside edges with Memento Toffee Crunch and then covered the frame with paper using the Best Glue Ever! to attach the paper to the wood frame and here is what I came up with to put in my living room on display....

Winter is Back!!

Good morning to all..It is freezing cold here in Northern Ontario!!! Yep your eyes are not leading you astray and no you do not have to clean your glasses..It is a CHRISTMAS CARD!!  The image is from WHIMSY STAMPS and it is called FRIENDSHIP IS THE GREATEST GIFT.. I love this image..I have a bestie who I cannot live without and it makes me think of her..  I stamped the image with MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK onto COPIC X-PRESS IT BLENDING CARD..This paper is awesome for COPICS but not so good with PRISMA PENCILS..With that being said I coloured this image using COPICS and the colours are pictured below!!

Time to present another card for One Crazy Stamper and this month we are featuring the wonderful stamps from Whimsy Stamps. Whimsy carries many different artists stamps and I love them all!! The challenge theme is ANYTHING GOES WITH A TWIST - your project must include a Whimsy Stamp rubber stamp image - no digitals allowed!! 

My card today features another adorable image from a new Whimsy Stamps artist - Time for Tea Designs - and is called "Shopping Day". I have colored the image with Copics, then mounted the finished image on dp from My Mind's Eye Notable collection. Prima flowers finish the card front.

Howdy do crafty peeps! What do you all have planned for March break? I think we will enjoy some of the fun going on at our local library and go visit some friends. Lets giddy up and get on with my card, I coloured with copic markers, added hemp twine, a grass border and some stars. You can't see but I used twinkling H20's in heavenly and painted it onto the mane.
