Selfie!

Hello crafty peeps, today I'm keeping it CAS. This type of card is hard for me because I love embellishments, but I really do like how CAS cards look. So heres mine... and instead of using design paper I used embossing paste and stencilled with my new mixed media dies.

Supplies- Uptown Girls Samantha and Sierra Take a Selfie(Stamping Bella), Embossing Paste-White(Studio 490), Gems-Crystal(Forever In Time), Thinlits-Mixed Media Dies(Sizzix)

Ava Loves To Celebrate!

Hi everyone!

Stamping Bella is another one of my favourite Stamp companies! I love any and all of the Uptown Girls and "Ava Loves To Celebrate" is no exception! I think Ava was one of the first Uptown Girls stamps that I purchased and I have used her many times! Lora carries a lot of Stamping Bella stamps in the OCS online store.

I stamped Ava on Copic friendly paper and coloured her with my Copic Sketch markers. I cut 2 stitched borders and added then to the sides of my layered image. This time paper from Echo Park's Jack and Jill Girl Collection was my choice. I tied some ribbon on the middle of the card and added a bow with a paper rose in the middle. Glitter is a must for Ava and I used clear glitter Wink of Stella on the yellow icing, roses and the bow on the presents.

On the inside I used a sentiment stamp from my "stash" and lightly stamped part of Ava with Memento ink in Angel Pink in the bottom corner.

I also used a concave corner punch on the paper on the inside to add a bit of interest to the sentiment.

The Bestest Birthday Ever

Woo Hoo, Thursday has rolled around again which means it's my turn to showcase a project for One Crazy Stamper, and I have another adorable Petunia image today!!

Say hello to Petunia Has a Party from Stamping Bella!  I have colored the image with my trusty Copic sketch markers, then added sparkle with a Sakura Clear Star pen, and white dots around the image with a Sakura white Glaze pen.  After cutting and matting the image with a Spellbinder die, and inking the edges with either Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet or Wild Honey distress inks, I then mounted it on the card front which features Authentique dp.  The sentiment is included with the image and finished off the card perfectly.

Chicks - YR21, YR23, YR24, YR27 Beaks - E18

"Sing a New Song"

Hi Fellow Crafters;

We are half way through April and spring is definitely in the air.  Hope you have enjoyed the wonderful spring like weather we have had over the last few days.  For my post today at OCS, I have used the Birds and Blooms stamp from Heartfelt Creations along with the matching Birds and Blooms Die.  I stamped the images and then used the matching Birds and Blooms Die to cut everything out.  So much easier to do than fuzzy cutting and certainly worth it.  I then layered the pieces for a 3D effect.

Supplies used:
There is still plenty of time to enter this month's "Anything Goes" challenge for a chance to win a prize from OCS.  For any supplies you made need to make your project and any other creative endeavours check out Lora's OCS store for some amazing products and prices.

Until next time, Happy Crafting and have enjoy your creative endeavours.

Hugs,

Serving Up Some Birthday Love!

Happy Saturday!

Today I am sharing an Art Impression stamp called "Birthday Love". This image makes a super cute birthday card! Do you know someone who loves to play tennis? I'm sure they would love to receive this adorable card! As I am hoping for some warmer weather I pulled out this set and away I went!

I chose paper from the new Echo Park Jack and Jill Boy collection. Although this collection is aimed at boy themes, I just loved the bright colours and thought it would perfect for this project! I die cut 3 stitched ovals and layered them with navy blue oval yardstick. A few sequin stars, twine and some clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on her hat, earrings, socks and ruffles finished off my card!

The inside of the card is simple with more die cut ovals. The sentiment comes with the set and matches the image perfectly!
