Phew! Happy Harvest!

I have one more Fall/Halloween inspired card to share with you today. I can't believe it's the last day of August already!

"Harvest Harry" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps sure seems happy about harvest being started. He is exhausted! Guarding crops is a tough job! I think he already has his bags packed for vacation!

After colouring the stamp with alcohol markers I fussy cut Harry leaving a thin white border. I added some blue paper behind him after running it through an embossing folder. Paper from Echo Park was perfect for this card. I added some fun wheat and bobbles as an embellishment for something different and fun. The sentiment was created on my computer. A few of my favourite - gumdrops - finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Harvest Harry (S032), - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Calibri font - computer
Patterned Paper: The Story of Fall by Lori Whitlock - Echo Park
Stitched Rectangle Die and Fish Tail Banner Dies - Your Next Stamp, Florals - Ashland, Trim - Island Time, Sizzix Embossing Folder, Love Me Some Latte Gumdrops - Your Next Stamp, Silver gel pen (buttons and nail)

Spectrum Noir Markers: LY1 CT2 CT4 GB11 TN1 EB1 EB2 TB8 BT9 TB9 OR1 OR2 CR8 TN3 TN6 TN7 1G2 1G3 1G5

Be sure to pop back tomorrow - we have a New Release blog hop that is full of cuteness overload!

Fall Love! -- High Hopes Stamps

 Happy Friday!!!
I'm totally ready for Fall, mainly for the cooler weather and yummy crock pot meals!

Today I'm sharing a little card made with....

The image was coloured with Copics. a scrap piece of burlap ribbon was added across the card along with some muddy hills and pumpkins cut from card stock

Lots of pop dots were used for added dimension and some pretty Fall ribbons at the top of the Scarecrow post.
Thanks for peeking! Wishing you a great Weekend. Hope you get crafty and create some Fall and Halloween designs! I would love to see your creations in our Current challenge found here!

Fresh Apple Pie

I hope you are enjoying all the fun Fall/Halloween stamps the design team is sharing this month.

This is "Milton's Fall Harvest". He looks so proud of all his apples! For me this stamp reminded me of all of the fresh, warm apple pie and apple crisp my mom made when we were growing up. She sometimes made apple dumplings too but not too often so they were a special treat for us.

Close Up

After colouring the stamp with alcohol markers I cut him out using a stitched rectangle die. I added some paper from Jillibean, Carta Bella and some from my stash. I added some texture by running some plain cardstock through an embossing folder and using some burlap ribbon. The sentiment was created on my computer. Milton is popped up with pop dots as there are lots of layers of paper underneath him. A quilled apple from my stash finishes off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Milton's Fall Harvest (S214), - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Calibri font - computer
Patterned Paper: Dots and Stripes - Carta Bella, Jillibean, stash
Stitched Rectangle Die - Your Next Stamp, Forever in Time 3D Pop Dots, burlap ribbon - dollar store, quilled apple - stash, Cuttlebug Polka Dots Embossing Folder

Spectrum Noir Markers: TN1 EB1 EB2 EB6 EB3 EB5 TN3 TN6 TN7 GB8 GB10 CR7 CR11 DR6 LG1 LG3 LG5 JG2 JG3
