Dragon Pals Welcome

I'm not sure why but from the moment I saw the Dragon Pals stamp from the new A Magical Day release I thought new baby card.

I also wanted to think outside the box when it came to my colour choices for something different and fun so I coloured these cuties in a green and orange colour combo.

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I hand fussy cut it the wing tip and tail so I could fit my circle die underneath to do a partial die cut.  I added some pink Spectrum Sparkle pen to the butterfly wings - it's a little hard to see. Next I grabbed a cloud die cut and my baby blue ink and formed my clouds. I added some pale grey under their feet....maybe next time I would use green - hindsight is always the best isn't it?! <wink>
Patterned paper from Photo Play had a perfect combination for the base of my card. Some Prima flowers, ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Sprinkles of Fairy Dust

It's a cool drizzly day here in the Kootenay's so to brighten up the day I have created an adorable card with the colors of spring!

This sweet image is "Twinkle Fairy" from High Hopes rubber stamps, and can be purchased here at One Crazy Stamper.  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with My Favorite Things Cement Grey hybrid ink, then colored it with Copic markers, adding just a touch of Prismacolor pencils to deepen shadows and add highlights.  After fussy cutting the image and placing it on the card front, I created dots of sparkle and covered the wings with Ranger Frosted Lace Stickles.  The sentiment is also available here at One Crazy Stamper, and is also part of the new release "A Magical Day".

Card Recipe
Copics - E01, E11, BV00, B60, B63, B66, RV000, RV10, RV02, G40, G43, G46, Y32, YR31, YR21, RV11, E33, RV34, R20
Prismacolor pencils - 928 Blush Pink, 942 Yellow Ochre, 1092 Nectar

Anything Is Possible!

Welcome back One Crazy Stamper Fans! I hope you have been enjoying the new "A Magical Day" release.
I have been having fun trying to figure out how to include some magic in each card I making. Today our "Little Wizard" is practicing his magic and has figured out how to cast a rainbow of stars!

For as simple as this card layout looks, it actually took me 8 tries to have it come together perfectly - I am so thankful for my Misti! The stars are done with sparkle pens which kept bleeding and when I decided to add clouds, one of them smeared - tip - wait for sparkle pens to completely dry before accidentally adding ink - so I had to start over. Finally after figuring out the perfect paper to use, how to "drop" my extra juicy sparkle pen in the space so it wouldn't bleed and inking my clouds.. my background came together.

After colouring my image with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white border. All of this cuteness was added to paper from Photo Play and Echo Park and i combined two different sentiments to create the sentiment.

Dream Big

I am having so much fun playing with the new A Magical Day release!

Today we find our "Little Wizard In Training" in her workshop practicing with her book of magic.

I wanted to keep the book theme throughout my card so I chose use some paper that had a book theme, a file tab, and a letter edge die.
A brick pattern stencil and Memento ink created the wall in the background. The dot paper and gumdrops in the corners keep a "bubble theme" throughout the card as well since our little wizard seems to be working on quite the recipe at the moment.

Imagine

Welcome to the new "A Magical Day" release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps!
Gnomes and fairies, and dragons OH MY!!!!!!!!! This release is full of magical stamps and matching sentiments! Be sure to use the link above to go directly to the website to see the full release!

The design team will be sharing lots of magic with these new images - you won't want to miss a day!

I so excited to introduce you to the oh so cute "Wizarding Gnome"! How cute is he!?! I wonder what he is up to.............

I wanted to create a magical themed background and yet keep it somewhat subtle if that makes sense. After colouring up the stamp with alcohol markers, I fussy cut him leaving a thin white edge and popped him up with foam dots. Some sparkle pen added to the stars and ball were perfect for a little bit of magical bling. Sparkly dangling stars made with a stencil and Stickles add to the magic - although it didn't quite work out perfectly <wink>.

The sentiment was stamped directly on to the background paper. Then I masked off the stamp and to just get the stars and added them in three different places to keep the theme going through out the card. A few of the small stars have Stickles added to them too, it's just kind of hard to see in the photo.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Wizarding Gnome - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
