Adventure Awaits

A very happy Wednesday to you all!  It's time to showcase another great image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  This week it's Harley!

The image was stamped twice on to Copic Xpress It Card stock with Memento ink and then colored with Copics.  To create the patterned paper I used the amazing Sizzix 3D embossing folder called Gears, which after embossing I used Peacock Feathers, Rusty Hinge and Ground Espresso distress inks to add color.  The embossed paper was then cut with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Triple Peek-a-boo Window and Edge, and then I randomly placed parts of the stamped image in the opening created by the die.  The sentiment is also from High Hopes Rubber Stamps and can be found here.

Sprinkles of Fairy Dust

It's a cool drizzly day here in the Kootenay's so to brighten up the day I have created an adorable card with the colors of spring!

This sweet image is "Twinkle Fairy" from High Hopes rubber stamps, and can be purchased here at One Crazy Stamper.  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with My Favorite Things Cement Grey hybrid ink, then colored it with Copic markers, adding just a touch of Prismacolor pencils to deepen shadows and add highlights.  After fussy cutting the image and placing it on the card front, I created dots of sparkle and covered the wings with Ranger Frosted Lace Stickles.  The sentiment is also available here at One Crazy Stamper, and is also part of the new release "A Magical Day".

Imagine Dragons

Welcome to another Wednesday and my card for One Crazy Stamper.  The design team divas are showcasing the wonderful new release "A Magical Day" from High Hopes Stamps, and when I first saw these cute dragons I just couldn't wait to color them!!

This is "Dragon Pals" have I stamped with Cement Grey Memento Ink on to Copic Xpress it cardstock and then colored with Copics.  The dots on the large dragon were done with a green gel pen, and I used a clear Wink of Stella brush on the wings of all three characters.  The sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps and is available here.  I inked the sky with Tumbled Glass distress ink, the hills were done with Bundled Sage, and the castle was inked with Hickory Smoke distress ink.  The stencils were from My Favorite Things and Tim Holtz ( the stone work on the castle ), and the castle is a die from My Favorite Things.

Fluffle Hugs!!!

Did you know that a group of bunnies is called a Fluffle?  Seemed fitting for this card to be entitled Fluffle Hugs!  I decided to make a fluffle of bunnies using the High Hopes Rubber stamp image "Flop Eared Rabbit (H013), by masking and stamping the image five times.  Gotta love fluffles!!

After the image was grouped together I colored them with Copic markers, and then added depth and highlights with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  I then fussy cut the fluffle, and placed it on to a card front with a clear acetate panel, showcasing the patterned paper on the inside of the card.  The stamped sentiment is from one of my Stamping Bella images, and HUGS was cut with a My Favorite Things die.

Card Supplies - Copics - 100, T5, T8, T10, E11, E13, E15, E35, E37, E39, E41, E42, E43, E44, E50, E51, E53, R11
