Just Married!

Hello OCS Fans!
Don't you love a good Wedding! There is something about seeing a Bride that just gives me a "warm & fuzzy" feeling! This is "Just Married" from High Hopes Stamps. Off the Happily Married couple goes to start their new life together!
I decided to use paper from the Simple Stories The Story of Us 6x6 collection! I love the blacks and golds in this collection. I used the HH "Love Never Fails" sentiment on the front along with a few YNS Gold Gumdrops. You can't tell in the picture but the light grey parts on the card are actually coloured with Wink of Stella's Silver glitter pen. The bride and her flowers have Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on them as well.
I used die cuts from the SS The Story of Us Bits & Pieces set on the inside.
Copics Used:
C1, C2, C4, C6, C8
R24, R27, R81, R83, R85, R89
E00, B01, B02, YG23
Y23, Y26, Y28

Happy Stamping!

To Love and To Cherish......

Hello and welcome back OCS fans, to another crazy Tuesday;

As school will be done in a couple of weeks, this means that summer has arrived.  Children will be having some fun from no school work and this also means that this is the season for weddings.

For my card today, I have used the Just Married stamp and an awesome sentiment which says it all  from High Hopes Stamps.  I added some Nuvo Snow Glow Sparkle Dust around the border of the Scalloped Labels 1 Die as well as on her veil and dress.

Just Married!

Hello!
Look at this cute couple!!! They are part of the High Hopes Stamps Spring 2016 release and just in time for "wedding season". This stamp is called "Just Married" and you can also purchase the matching SVG File to cut around your image with your electronic die machine.
I was inspired by my talented friend Natalie! She does a lot of Vintage looking creations and I wanted to give it a try as well. I inked all the edges of the Design paper and cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I added lace and a lace type flower that I also inked the edges of. I added a doily behind the image and popped it up with foam squares for more dimension. The little sentiment is from a paper collection I had in my stash. To keep with the Vintage themed colours I challenged myself to use only Copic Markers from the Earth tones.
To help keep the card upright and from sliding I fashioned a little piece of cardstock and attached it to both sides of the Easel Card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E93, E95
Hair: E04, E07, E09 / E43, E44, E47
Dress & Veil: E50, E000, 0
Tux & Hat: E50, E51, E53, E55
Bow & hat strip: E04, E07, E09

A Wedding Card

Wedding season is upon us!  This sweet High Hopes image is called Just Married #TT026  and is perfect to customize with each couple's wedding colours.  I chose a champagne/grey combo with touches of peach and green.  You can't tell in the photo, but the papers and banner have a great shimmer to them, to dress up the card considerably:
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and made up a few 3D flowers that I cut with my Cricut.  A few champagne coloured pearls, and a bit of twine finished it off nicely.

Just Married!

It's Thursday already! Wow time sure does fly! I hope you have all enjoyed some sun and beautiful weather lately - I know I have!!!!

I kept the layout simple on this card because I really wanted the stamp to stand out. The sentiment and message will be included on the inside when I'm ready to give it.

I have neighbours who are getting married this summer, so the "Just Married" stamp from the Spring 2016 Collection from High Hopes is perfect!  The Groom to be owns a red antique tractor and races a tractor trailer and tractors so I purposely cut my image out on a slight angle. He will get a kick out of the fact that the "groom" is "driving" on two wheels.

My stamp is coloured with alcohol markers (list below) and cut out with a Stitched Rectangle die from Your Next Stamp.
To create my frame, I cut out a piece of white card stock and then used the same stitched rectangle die to cut out my window.
The embossed frame around the square was done by measuring the size of square I wanted and marking it with pencil on the back side of my frame.
Then I put it on my Scor-Pal and scored out my frame and popped it up with pop dots.
To achieve the blue sky around our happy couple, I left the paper with the image on it in the die and taped the die to the paper (on the backside). Then I took my sponge, ink and dauber and added the ink. It is very hard to see in the picture but the bumper, mirror and hearts on the Just Married sign are all done with Silver Wink of Stella, and Glossy Accents were added to the mirror.
