A Wedding Card

Wedding season is upon us!  This sweet High Hopes image is called Just Married #TT026  and is perfect to customize with each couple's wedding colours.  I chose a champagne/grey combo with touches of peach and green.  You can't tell in the photo, but the papers and banner have a great shimmer to them, to dress up the card considerably:
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and made up a few 3D flowers that I cut with my Cricut.  A few champagne coloured pearls, and a bit of twine finished it off nicely.

Let's Celebrate!

Happy Groundhog Day!!  Let's hope that he doesn't see his shadow :o)  I spotted these sweet baking themed papers when I was at the One Crazy Stamper store recently, and I knew they'd look great with one of the Vintage Vixens stamps from Art Impressions so here is Six Layer Set:
The sentiment says: "Let's celebrate the end of bathing suit season with a six layer chocolate cake."  I love it!  I added a large loopy die cut behind her, as well as some tiny baking dies at the bottom.  I used pop dots on the sentiment and the baking bowl for a little dimension.  We started a brand new challenge here on the OCS blog yesterday - anything goes, so we hope you'll play along and link up your creations.  There'll be all kinds of inspiration here all month long, so if the groundhog does happen to see his shadow, and we have 6 more weeks of winter... we'll just all have to stay indoors and make cards!  Works for me.

Bedtime Bear & the Minc Machine

Welcome to 2016 here on the One Crazy Stamper blog!  We have all kinds of wonderful inspiration in store for you... and to kick things off, I have the sweetest little bear from High Hopes today, along with my Minc'd background paper.  Here is Bedtime Bear (S188):
This is a 5 1/2" square card, and I used my Heidi Swapp Minc Machine to create the silver foil background of 'dream' words which I thought worked perfectly with my sleepy bear stamp.  The Minc machine will adhere foil to images printed on a laser printer, or run through a photocopier, but this sheet of cardstock was from the Heidi Swapp 6" x 6" paper collection that you can find here in the OCS store.  It is a pack of 24 preprinted sheets that work with the Minc machine, so I selected some silver foil and ran it through.  Here's a photo taken to show off the silver words a bit better:
The image was cut out and popped up over a circular die cut.  The stamp comes with the little star placed as shown, but my daughter came up with the idea of having him dangle on a string - which I loved.  Here are all of the products used that can be found in the One Crazy Stamper store:

Boo Pals!

Hello stampers!  I hope you all enjoyed the One Crazy Stamper/High Hopes blog hop yesterday - and if you happened to miss it, just scroll down (after you've checked out my card, of course!!) and you'll be able to link up to all the wonderful creations on the hop.  Today I'm featuring one of the newly released High Hopes images, Boo Pals SS007:
Isn't that little ghost the cutest?  I coloured my image with Copic markers, and fussy cut around the top of the image.  I've used some fun Doodlebug papers and my favourite embellie - Gumdrops from Your Next Embellie.  Here's a ghost close-up:

Antiques Window

I hope you all enjoyed the eye candy displayed by the OCS Design Team on yesterday's post - we hope you'll join our July Challenge by linking up your creations!  I've gone from doing a totally summery card yesterday, to an almost fall-like one today!  I've been itching to use the Antiques Window stamp from Art Impressions, and to me, it was crying out to be coloured up in fall tones:

I wanted to show off the patterned paper as much as possible, so I made a floating frame around the image and popped them both up with pop dots.

The Grillfather...

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I have a square card to share today using a stamp set from the Art Impressions line of stamps "Ai Heroes", called "Grillfather".  His pose cracks me up,  because it looks like he's about to have a sword fight with a hamburger!  This is the perfect card for my brother-in-law who really is The Grillfather.
Here's a close-up:

There are five Ai Heroes (Bug Buster, Backyard Boss, Weekend Warrior, Sexy Scrublord and Grillfather) - and you can find all of them in the OCS store here.  They are perfect as Father's Day cards, or just general guy birthday cards.
Don't forget to play along with our June challenge, which is Anything Goes with a splash: glitter and a ribbon - you can link up your card here.
