Friends are the Best Collectibles

Welcome back friends, and thanks for playing our challenge, and remember it is still going on this month, so let's have some fun.   

I took a few photos of my card, to show that I stamped the Hummingbird on the inside of my card, and used the Window stamp and cut out the inside to show through.

I added a few flowers and gems, I hope you can color and create and have some fun.  Remember to stop by Lora's store for supplies, and I look forward to seeing your creations.  

I also want to send a special Happy Birthday to wish my bestie, a wonderful day she will be...much older ;).  Hugs friend!

I had some scraps of canvas fabric

in my stash and decided to put it to

good use. I sew up the canvas and

made some bags.

Also created a friendship tag stamped on canvas:) !!

Heat pressed a cute sentiment on the back  that reads "all you need is love and a cat"

I used my High hopes stamps with 

Stazons Ink  and and applied it to the

front of the bag.

Pulled out my Copic markers and

coloured the canvas.
Some tips I have if your going to try this technique ... (as I discovered along the way).
 Let the ink fully dry (probably  let dry overnight is the best).  I had some minor smudging along the way.  Partially due to the fact that I didn't give my ink a chance to dry and its best to dot (up and down)  the marker in areas with a lot of ink lines ( like the face).
The background is airbrushed using copic markers along with a die cut cloud that I used as a stencil.

Quack Me Up

We all have that one friend (or more) that makes us laugh the whole time we're together don't we?! 

My card today, celebrates the crazy friends we have in our lives. I know I have more then one friend like this in my life and I love being with them...after all laughter is the best medicine right?! 

Inside

I started by stamping and colouring my images with alcohol markers. After fussy cutting them, I went around the edge with a black marker to fix any white that may have been left showing. 
I cut out some graph paper with a stitched rectangle die and partially stamped two more ducks. I wanted it to look like he was cartwheeling through the background. The sentiment was created on my computer and cut with a fishtail banner die. I finished the inside of this card by adding a piece of matching leftover patterned paper and stamping a matching sentiment. 
Some twine and Nuvo Crystal Drops finish off my card.

The flowers are cut from an old paint chip and was a perfect match with the background pattern paper. An awesome sentiment, butterflies, cream acrylic paint were added to the card.  The image is coloured with Copic markers, fussy cut and pop dotted for added dimension.
