Kissin' Cousins

Well, I finally had the chance to finish the February calendar pages that have been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks. Since the theme this month here at One Crazy Stamper is the ever popular ANYTHING GOES I've decided to show you this instead of a card today.

The pages were made using the Graphic 45 Place in Time collection of papers and chipboard, plus various embellishments from my stash. The photos are some of my all time favorites of my daughter. At the tender age of 10 months Erin, and her older cousin Coire meet for the first time, and these photos are the results - I especially love the one where she has a solid grip on Coire's poor ear!!! Here's a closer look at the individual pages.

You still have just over two weeks to enter the challenge, so hop on over to the blog here, and enter to win with your Anything Goes project!

Oh Baby!

How cute is this image from Marianne Designs?!  I’ve had my eye on this stamp for a while. I love that it can easily be colored either gender.  I made this tag for a quick embellishment on a baby gift.

My dot paper is from The Good Life and I used a couple Viva Decor pens.   Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

From the Desk of...

Hi All;

Sunday, is here again as another week has gone by.  A day of rest and chance to catch up on other things such as letter writing; which seems to have become a lost art since emailing and texting have taken over.  For my post today for OCS I used this image from the Flourishes set called From the Desk of...

Life Is A Journey

Good day to all! I'm here today with an exotic post, I've used one of Kraftin' Kimmies International girls..Priya from India. I wanted to make this card fun and colourful so I used bright DP and some V and RV copics for her sari.  The only die cuts I used were the corner and border dies, which I clear embossed for a glossy look. But why stop there right? With some dark purple rhinestones and glitter my card was complete! Don't forget our challenge this month is "Anything Goes" so have some fun and join us!

Thank you Collages

Since this is my first post for the New Year it is only fitting that I wish you all a Very Happy New Year with Good Health and much Prosperity.

Today I've chosen to show a couple of Thank You Notes that I made for hostesses over the holiday season.  I used Whimsy's  "Time Flies" available at the OCS Store.

I used Watermark Stamp Pad and Gold Embossing Powder to stamp the graduated layers of Vanilla cardstock. All pieces were sponged with Frayed Burlap to add further dimension and  matted with gold and black.  Extra embossed clocks were cut out and  popped onto the front of the cards for Dimension.
For the second card I added one more layer, and added a double red organza bow with a black brad for the center.mounted onto a clock popped up with pop dots.

A Kiss Please!!!

Terrific Tuesday is here again, which means that I get to show you my project here at One Crazy Stamper, and this month's Anything Goes challenge is so much fun to play along with. This card was actually suppose to be for next months challenge theme ( and no I am not telling you what is, but maybe you can guess ), but while coloring on Friday night with my coloring buddies, I realized just how many stamps I have waiting to be colored yet, so I just had to share with you! Isn't she just the cutest!!!

This is "Kisses", a delightful image from Penny Black and the talented artist Mo Manning!! I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. After fussy cutting her ( which I seem to do an awful lot of ), she is pop dotted on to the card front that I created using a Martha Stewart punch around the page border punch, and dp from Authentique's Lovely collection. Don't you just want to lean down and receive a big wet kiss from this little sweetheart.
 Please take a few minutes to visit the creative design teams creations, then get creative, and enter to win an awesome prize by following the Anything Goes challenge theme.

I used the negative die cut  from this Chloe Stem die from Memory Box. I love the idea of using negative space on a card.  I also used a MFT butterfly die and a Whimsy Stamp die.  My papers are from The Good Life. If you haven’t checked out the latest additions to the One Crazy Stamper store, you should take a look. I love finding new pretty things, like this black and white washi tape.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Princess Tales

Hi All;

It is a snowy Sunday here and I apologize for being late with today's post: some technical difficulties have gotten in the way. For my first post of 2013 for One Crazy Stamper I have used this adorable stamp from Belles 'n Whistles called Princess Tales.  I have 3 amazing grand daughters and I hope they do; but I will always
encourage them to dream big.

The two corners are are Cut, Emboss and Embroidery Dies from Joy Crafts. I will go into more detail on how to use these spectacular dies when I do a tutorial later this month.
