Shaker Card Tutorial

Thanks for stopping by today, I am sharing a tutorial today for you, the tutorial is my turn for One Crazy Stamper.  I hope you get a chance to try something new and also check out everything here at One Crazy Stamper.  Say hello to the amazing design team as well.

I used Spellbinders Label 22 and Decorative Labels 22 for my shaker part of the card.  I cut the frame out and using the larger die cut and the next size of one.  Use the larger die cut to cut out the acetate/transparency as well as my little friend and his balloon. 

 The decorative label 22 I used to cut out a mat for the shaker part.

I added foam tape to the back of the acetate.  Oh and colored my little High Hopes Rubber Stamp friend, using Copic Markers. YG17, 25, BG11, 13, 15, Y26, 23, R21, 22, 27, 29, E93, W6.

Then I put some sequins over top of the colored image and place the transparency/frame over top.

Here is my finished card, add some pearls, ribbon and I used the fun Simple Stories Homespun Pattern Paper.  My card is 6x6 size. I also have made another card using similar technique, I will add another post for this over at my blog.  Thanks again for stopping and happy crafting.

With a Little Help

Okay, where on earth do the days go?  It is hard to believe that another month is soon ending and the fourth month is just around the corner.  Between coloring, planning card making classes, studying medical terminology and now a new grand fur baby to babysit, my days are flying by.  

 

 

The weather here in southern Alberta has been exceptional, no snow to be seen and some people are saying that the plants are starting to peek out of the ground, so the days of warmer coats is coming to an end, but I fell in love with this gorgeous Art Impressions image and had to color it up.  This is Bench Set available here at One Crazy Stamper, that I have colored with Copic sketch markers and then cut and matted with a Spellbinder die.  The dp and ribbons are from my stash, and the sentiment is one of three that comes with the image.

Happy Spring!!!

Now that March break is over, hopefully this spring like weather will stay for a while.  It is certainly melting the snow and becoming a bit warmer.  The month is almost over and hopefully it doesn't go out like a lion. 

For my post today at OCS I have used this adorable Hummingbird stamp as well as a sentiment from the Sign Post Sentiment set. Both are from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  The background is a stamp from Impression Obsession called Blossoming Branches Background which I coloured with some Rangers Distress Inks.

Hello fellow crafty friends! On this Terrific Tuesday I'm sharing a saturated canary stamp which I coloured with my spectrum noir pencils. I've coloured this stamp a few times, and so today I wanted to try something different. I went for a soft look to match the pastels in the chalk studio dp that I used.

Thanks for stopping, oh how I had fun with my card today, I love the paper I used and the image is so awesome.  I didn't add a sentiment this time as I am not sure what I would put.  I just like it without this time.  My turn to post over here at One Crazy Stamper for our challenge this month, which is Anything Goes.  You have to check out all the details and play along.

My image I am using is from the wonderful High Hopes Rubber Stamps, so awesome, called Favorite Honey Bear.  I used some Little Yellow Bicycle pattern paper, copic markers, added some ribbon, and flowers of course.  I hope you get a chance to play our challenge here at OCS  or maybe share the love with the incredible design team.  Lora has a wide arrange of supplies in her store as well, so pop on over there and have some fun.  Till next time happy crafting!

The Blues

The sun is shining, the small amount of snow we received on the weekend has long disappeared and spring is back, so thoughts turn to gardening.  The coming season is celebrated in today's card.

Spring is on the Way!!!

Hope you are enjoying this more balmy like weather that is melting some snow and showing grass.  Yeah!  Spring will soon be here along with some flowers, greener grass and more sunshine. 

For my post today, I have used Part-Time Gardener from High Hopes Rubber Stamps January 2015 release.  To adhere the Kensington Border Die (Memory Box) that is on the left hand side I used this new adhesive called Stick It.  It is the perfect type of adhesive for all the fine and intricate dies, that are difficult to add adhesive to.

Beautiful

Hey friends! Its finally March break!!! Yay!!! I have a few fun things planned for the kids, but most of all its so nice just to be able to sleep in a bit and have a little R & R at home.

Now lets talk about this beautiful card I made this week, coloured with copic markers and embellished with a prima flower, feather, brads, jewels and a butterfly. I also used my very cool MFT zipper die and a sentiment die.
