Quiet Hearts! -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there and Happy Saturday!
I'm back again to share another little creation using ....
A little garden scene using a mason jar die. The fairy is one of the new
release stamps from High Hopes.
I cut some butterflies and flowers from a pattern paper and individually glued them for the card.  The jar cap is actually tin foil (some times it does day to craft in the kitchen!! :)
The image is coloured with Copic Markers.  I added gems for a wee bit of sparkle and
tried to coordinate the twine with her pretty dress.
I left a writing space inside of the card to put a little
note.
The sentiment is stamped in distress ink and
foam mounted to the front of the
card.  I punched some holes in the card and fed the twine so the card closes with a tied bow :)
Thanks for peeking!

Hoping Your Day is as Special as you are!

Welcome OCS fans;

Spring is officially here, but you wouldn't know it from the weather this week -- rain, snow and some high winds.

I thought I would do a spring like card that could also be used for Mother's Day which will soon be here.

I have used the adorable LeiLani from the High Hopes Stamps Darling Divas Release which was last year.

After colouring my stamped image with Copic Markers, I trimmed it so that it would fit on the Quilted Backdrop die.  I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops at the bottom and Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flowers.

Supplies used:
  • Stamp:  LeiLani (from the Darling Divas release 2017), Hope Your Day (High Hopes Stamps)

Just Chillin

Sometimes all you need is to chill with your friends! That is what this fun trio of gnomes from the A Magical Day release are doing.

I chose to get in touch with my CAS (clean and simple) side this week as I really wanted these cuties to be the focus of my card.

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I hand fussy cut it and set it aside. Next I grabbed my inkss, ink blender, heart stencil and ink blended the heart for my background. Out came my Misti and the sentiment was stamped in the perfect spot. I assembled my card base and added the gnome friends with foam pop dots. Some purple grape jelly gumdrops finish off my CAS layout.

Imagine Dragons

Welcome to another Wednesday and my card for One Crazy Stamper.  The design team divas are showcasing the wonderful new release "A Magical Day" from High Hopes Stamps, and when I first saw these cute dragons I just couldn't wait to color them!!

This is "Dragon Pals" have I stamped with Cement Grey Memento Ink on to Copic Xpress it cardstock and then colored with Copics.  The dots on the large dragon were done with a green gel pen, and I used a clear Wink of Stella brush on the wings of all three characters.  The sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps and is available here.  I inked the sky with Tumbled Glass distress ink, the hills were done with Bundled Sage, and the castle was inked with Hickory Smoke distress ink.  The stencils were from My Favorite Things and Tim Holtz ( the stone work on the castle ), and the castle is a die from My Favorite Things.

Stay In the Magic!

Hi OCS Fans!
I've been wanting to try this style of a card for a while and when I saw the High Hopes new "Fairy Garden" stamp I knew it would be perfect! I was inspired by my friend Renee's card that she had made, with an acetate middle. (see it HERE). I knew it would be super cute paired with the "Twinkle Fairy" image!
I am using paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid collection for just a touch of pattern. I wanted the Fairy Garden to be the main focal point. I love how it looks like "Twinkle Fairy" is actually flying by!
Here you get a better idea of the added acetate panel. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Stay In the Magic".
Here's a full view of the "Fairy Garden" image.
Copics Used:

Winter Owl Card Kit

I have Card Kit #23 to share with you today - there will be five brand new holiday-themed card kits available at the One Crazy Stamper booth at Scrapfest in Kitchener, April 13th & 14th.  If there are any kits still available after the show, you'll see them in the OCS store after those dates.  Today's kit features Winter Owl RR020 and Warm Winter Wishes Bold H098 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps:
I just adore all the little High Hopes owls!  You can colour him however you like, but I was trying to imitate a buffalo plaid on his hat & scarf...
The Card Kits contain all the pieces to put together four cards, including all of the cut paper, card bases & envelopes.  What you need to provide is black ink, the colouring method of your choice, and adhesives.  There is a full colour instruction sheet that includes a photo, step-by-step instructions including a list of the Copic colours that are used in the sample, and all of the cutting measurements so that you can make more cards using your own supplies later.  The kit contains both the image and sentiment as unmounted red rubber stamps - so you'll want to pick up some EZ Mount adhesive cushion from the OCS store as well.
I'll be back next weekend to share the next few kits!  Happy stamping!

New OCS Card Kits!

Happy Easter!!  I am sneaking onto the blog with a guest post to share one of the new Card Kits that will be available at Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario - April 13th & 14th... and possibly on the OCS website if there are any left after the show.  Everybody always wants to get a head start on their Christmas cards, so this year we've got 5 festive kits that will get you adding to your stash early in the year.  Here is Card Kit #22 featuring Santa's List R154 and Naughty List JJ004 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps:
This sentiment is an all-time favourite of mine!  Can't you think of a dozen friends that this would be perfect for?  The Card Kits contain all the pieces to put together four cards, including all of the cut paper, die cut snowflakes, card bases & envelopes.
*In this particular kit, you will get supplies to make two cards as shown, and two cards will have the background papers switched, with the stripe being the larger piece on top.  Quantities are limited, so be sure to hit the One Crazy Stamper booth at Scrapfest (I've had a sneak peek to see what Lora is bringing to the show - you'll want to stop by for sure!!).  Come back and visit the blog, as I'll be sharing the rest of the Card Kits over the next few weeks.  Happy stamping!

Fast Eddie on the prowl.....

Welcome back OCS fans!

Being that it is Easter and over the next few days, there will be plenty of Easter Egg hunts going on, I used this fun image from High Hopes Stamps called Fast Eddie.  He is definitely on the run for those eggs. This is a fairly clean and simple card.  Fast Eddie was coloured with Copic Markers, then cut out using the Spellbinders Standard Circle Die.  I used the Crystal Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen, to add some glitter to the basket.

As  there is a banner of wording on the bottom part of the card, I added the Happy Easter sentiment to the inside of the card.

Anything Is Possible!

Welcome back One Crazy Stamper Fans! I hope you have been enjoying the new "A Magical Day" release.
I have been having fun trying to figure out how to include some magic in each card I making. Today our "Little Wizard" is practicing his magic and has figured out how to cast a rainbow of stars!

For as simple as this card layout looks, it actually took me 8 tries to have it come together perfectly - I am so thankful for my Misti! The stars are done with sparkle pens which kept bleeding and when I decided to add clouds, one of them smeared - tip - wait for sparkle pens to completely dry before accidentally adding ink - so I had to start over. Finally after figuring out the perfect paper to use, how to "drop" my extra juicy sparkle pen in the space so it wouldn't bleed and inking my clouds.. my background came together.

After colouring my image with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white border. All of this cuteness was added to paper from Photo Play and Echo Park and i combined two different sentiments to create the sentiment.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Little Wizard, Starry Dreams - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Anything Possible, Believe - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Delightful and Tailored Plaid - Photo Play, Dots and Stripes - Echo Park
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, Gold Wink of Stella, Spectrum and Sheena Douglas sparkle pens, Love Earth Gumdrops - YNS, cloud die - Quickutz, Baby Blue ink - Memories

Spectrum Noir Markers: FS1 FS4 TN2 GB5 BG7 BG10 EB6 EB3 EB5 CR11 DR6 DR7 IG2 IG3 IG5 CT2 TN3 TN6 TN7
