Kraftin Kimmie's Cinderella running from the ball

Ever since I saw this Kraftin Kimmie Cinderella stamp at One Crazy Stamper I wanted her to move....It just felt like she had to.  I colored her with copics and watered down some shimmery paint and painted her dress so it sparkles a lot in person.  The trees are stamped with some unknown tree stamp I had in my stash and I used a white pin and stickles (Icicles) to make it look snowy.  I also used stickles on the makeshift paper hill.

Here is the basic picture head on.
Here is a picture when she is all the way to the left and she can spin and move just by pushing her.
Here she is moved into the middle
Here she is all the way to the right.

This is my first spinner card and it was fun and super easy to do!  I loved how she moves and think this is a great interactive card!  She wasn't that hard to cut around either.  Her neck is very thin and started to get flimsy and I was worried about it ripping so I took the stickles and put it on the back of her neck in a thick line and let it dry and that seemed to be a pretty good/quick/easy fix to give her neck some strength.

Don't forget about the challenge going on until the end of the month!  Christmas/Winter themed!  I think Cinderella fits right in!

Stampavie – Penny Johnson - “I Wish”

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to One Crazy Stamper’s blog.
P1110713 copy When I saw this image in Lora's store, I just had to have it!  It is so sweet!  I had so much fun bringing it to life with my Copics.  My card is an E-Z fold card and is 5” x 5”.
The end result took very little coloring as the image speaks for itself. I also used some of the 6 x 6 Webster’s pages. These cardstock weight papers are so rich and beautiful! The 6 x 6 pads are scaled down versions of the  12 x 12, which make them ideal for cards.  They are my absolute favorite papers!    P1110714 copy
Card Recipe:
Copics:  Bows, and Stockings:  R24; R20; R29; R39, Skin:  R00; E02; R20,  Dress:  RV20; C1,  Hair:  E11; E13; Y18, Mantle:  E33; E11; E13; C1, Shading:  C1; E11P1110716 copy
Spellbinders:  Beaded Ovals , Ovals, Scalloped Rectangles and Rectangles.
Misc:   Stickles, Pearls**, Memento Black Tuxedo Ink, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, 6 x 6 Webster’s pages, Glossy Accents, Oval Punch, and Frost - Sheer Shimmer Mist.
** TIP:  In a pinch, if you don’t happen to have the right shade of pearls, color them with copic markers.

Stampavie Sarah Kay - Noel Joy

Dana here, and it's my turn to show you some of the beautiful stamps and what not's available at One Crazy Stamper!!
I just love this little lady from Stampavie by Sarah Kay. Her name is Noel Joy and she's all dressed up to mail her snail mail!! It was actually a breeze to color her with my Copic markers.
Here's a close up shot so you can see the "snow" I added with glitter
I added some doodling around various snowflakes with a Sakura Stardust pen and also to the "fur" on her coat.
I just love this paper by Kaiser Craft called "Flutterby". It actually has butterflies which are hidden under the image. I adore flourishes and this deep shade of red actually works really well!! Very shabby chic!!
For a final touch I added those black pearls to the corners. I think it frames out the whole card nicely.
I actually used my new X-Press It adhesive for the first time on this card and I just love it!! It holds like a dream and requires no effort to tear at all. I also love the fact that when it's all gone the only thing left is a cardboard circle that can be recycled.

Don't forget you still have a few more weeks to get in our challenge this month.  All you need to do is follow our current theme which is Christmas/Winter. Easy, peasy.. right??  I can't wait to see what you've made!!!

Hugs~

Glittery Cardinal Scene

I'm so excited to share a creation with you today! There are so many fun things available in the store....and I used a bunch of them on this card!

1. Stamp the Cardinal Scene from Stampendous on acetate with black Stazon ink.

2. Flip the image over and color with Copic Markers on the back of the acetate. Your coloring will not be perfect...but it will look fine once the image has been glittered.

3. Run your trimmed image through a Xyron machine, colored side down, so the sticker is applied to the back of the image and burnish it well.

4. Apply Art Institute Glitter to the sticker. I used a white color for my snow scene.

5. Run the image through the Xyron machine again, glitter side down and burnish well.

6. Apply image to a piece of light blue cardstock for a slight blue tint and trim.

7. Mat with black cardstock.

For the card panel, I used my Scor-Pal to add some embossed detail to the card. I wanted a section of my panel left plain so that I could stamp my sentiment.

1. Stamp sentiment from Popcorn the Bear Christmas Collection in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

2. Lightly score a line where you want your vertical stripes to end above your sentiment.

3. Flip your panel over and score it so that the embossing pops to the front of the card.

4. Turn your panel and carefully score your stripes in the width you desire.

I finished my card off with a black mat, some snowflake punches and glitter dots.

Don't forget to join us in our challenge this month! Use a stamp that is sold in the One Crazy Stamper site and make a Christmas card! Post your card HERE and then be sure to check out all of the awesome inspiration!!

Also...be sure to enter to win some awesome blog candy....HERE!!

Christmas Wishes

ocsdec2

I used a Popcorn Bear stamp for the first time ever on my card today.  I colored him up with my copics and kept the embellishment minimal with a Basic Grey button.  Just a reminder that we have a Christmas/Winter themed challenge going on until the end of December. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Guest Designer Brenda O

December's Guest Designer is Brenda O. and she has made a simply sweet card today using CC Designs  Cupcake KiKi.  I love the sweet cherry she's added and the pink and green color combo! Please hop over to Brenda's blog for all the details on her fabulous card!

One Crazy Stamper- Tilda

OCS Christmas copy

Here is a Christmas card I made. Each year I debate between handmade cards and a photo card. This year I opted for handmade cards.  I decided to Make them the standard 4x 5.5 size card & keep them kinda simple without a lot of bulk. I’m trying to keep things easy on myself and don’t think I will have time to go to the Post Office and get each card separately postmarked because of size and bulk.

I used Tilda with Jolly Wreath from the OCS store and colored her with my Copics.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Recipe:

Stamp: Magnolia, SU sentiment

Paper: My Mind’s Eye

Embellishments: Kaiser pearls, doile

Tools: Copics, Sewing Machine
