Born To Be Wild

Today I have a lot of bling for you! I thought this stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Spy Chick available from One Crazy Stamper deserved a lot of sparkle. I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It Cardstock. Then I colored her with copics: R24, R27, R29, C3, C5, C7, C9, Y11, Y21, E97, E99.
I layered my focal image unto a rectangle die and added bling along the edges.

Twine Swirly Circles tutorial!

017 (2)

Have you jumped on the TWINE bandwagon?  I have. I love the stuff!  One Crazy Stamper has a great assortment of twine to choose from, so today i want to show you one way you can use some of that twine!

First I started with an x of Xpress It tape.

011 (2)

Then stick twin in center of tape.

  012 (2)

Start to wrap twin in a circle. Pressing down firmly where the tape is.

013

If I had extra tape sticking out from my circle I just rolled it up under the edge of the twine circle.

015

Repeat as desired. Thanks for taking a look and be sure to check out the twine assortment and Xpress it tape  in the OCS store!

Don’t faint…

025 (2)
I made a “guy” card, can you believe it. I recently had to give a store bought card because I did not have any male card in my stash…and it gutted me.  Giving a store bought card is like eating store bought cookies instead of homemade. I just don’t like it! LOL
I used this fabulous vintage Whimsy stamp and love it.  Kept the details simple since it’s for a guy. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and taking a look today!

A Nerdy Bookmark!

019I have a bookmark to show you today and it’s not just any bookmark, it’s a nerdy bookmark!   And I love nerdy things.  I’ve used this sweet stamp and sentiment from MFT.
I think this sentiment is one of my favorites. My brother in law works with computer’s and when he tries to explain “computer stuff” to us, we have to tell him we don’t speak “nerd”. ha ha  Anyone else out there speak “computer nerd”?
Thanks for taking a look!
