Feeling Ruff?

Hello Everyone! A fabulous Sunday to you.

It's Heather here, with some Sunday inspiration with the fabulous stamps of High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

Today my card features the Sick Puppy stamp. This cutie is fluffy and fun and oh so sick! Poor guy.

What I love about this stamp is that the accessories around him give you the opportunity to play with color. Often, animal or dog stamps have alot of "brown" elements in the image. With this one, you can play with your favorite colors, or your patterned papers, to mix and match.

There is a great sentiment that goes with this puppy, Been Ruff. But, I chose to use Back on Your Feet with this layout. This guy looks like he's saggin' and draggin' a bit, so I figured it fit.

Want to know what color combos I used? Y13 and Y15 for the tissue box, with BV0000, BV00, BV02 and BV04 for the coffee cup. The hot water bottle is colored with R22, R24 and R27 and his cozy blanket is B21, B23 and B41. Puppy himself is colored with E11, E23, E25, E42 and E43 and I've also used my C00, C0, C1 and C3 throughout the image.

We Gnome Best!

Sunday rolls around again, which means it's my again my turn to share some inspiration with the fabulous stamps of High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

Today, I'm crafting with my gnomies. Get well wishes with Gnoming You Better, to be exact. This great image is perfect for your get well options. It's adorable, fun to color and...did I mention adorable?

I seem to be a on a minimalist kick right now. Usually I'm a layers girl, but right now I'm enjoying the many wonderful patterned papers in my craft room and finding ways to feature them.

This image was easy to cut out for the front of my card and, paired perfectly with the We Gnome Bet sentiment.

Rolling into Recovery

Happy Sunday!

It's Heather here, back with some more High Hopes Rubber Stamps inspiration.

Did you catch the Get Well Soon new release a few weeks back? So many fantastic new images and sentiments, like this cutie, Injured Bear. Poor Bear, I think he's had a bad week!

I ended up with fewer embellishments on this card. I didn't want to cover up my quilted background! This one in my "to use one day" stash was the perfect color to match my bear's outfit. These backgrounds are fun to make and are a great way to use up paper scraps. Then, just add your image and sentiment and you have a beautiful card!

The sentiment is a new release as well. It's called Speedy Recovery

Ouch! Feel Better!

Happy Sunday!

Welcome back to another day of fantastic inspiration on the One Crazy Stamper blog, with creations from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

Have you checked out the inventory over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps lately? I'm pretty sure I can get lost for hours with their adorable images!

For those in your life that might be needing a little medical pick me up, try the Speedy Recovery sentiment. It can be paired with any of the lovely Get Well themed images, such as Cole's Laid Up, shown here.

At first I was a bit intimidated by this image, thinking I was going to end up with an all green image (aren't all caterpillar's green?), but it's easier than you think! Cole here looks fantastic in orange and I can't wait to try a red version soon!

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Get Well Gopher!

Welcome OCS Fans!

Today is Wednesday and I'm back to share this adorable little gopher nurse in a tea cup to cheer up your friend, who isn't feeling so great right now from the new Get Well Soon collection. The stamp I'm featuring is called Gopher Tea Nurse (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and the sentiment is Think Happy (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)!

I die cut some Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using my Cuttlebug and Spellbinders - Labels 10. Using my MISTI, I stamped the image with Memento - Tuxedo Black ink. Next I coloured in the image with a mixture of Copic markers and PrismaColor Pencils. To get the crisp white edge around the image, I repositioned the cut out image back into the die cut and then taped the back to keep it in position. Then I coloured in my background around the image. Once completed, I removed the tape from the back of the die.

I die cut a second frame from the same die cut set (Spellbinders - Labels 10) and then edged around it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Evergreen Bough using a dauber. Next, I put the die cut into Cuttlebug - Snow Dots embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug again. I stamped the sentiment using Versa Fine - Onyx Black and then embossed it with Ranger - Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder. Next, I die cut the sentiment with My Creative Time - Sentiment Label Dies and edged around the die cut with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Evergreen Bough using a dauber. To complete the project, I edged around the remainder of the card with the same Tim Holtz ink.

Card Recipe:

Speedy Recovery

Hello, welcome back to One Crazy Stamper! It's Heather, with you Sunday inspiration. Last Sunday a posted a card with Seymore's Sick Day. I mentioned I had been experimenting with dragon colors, so today I have a slightly more yellow/green alternative.

Both look great when paired with the right papers!

I also used the Back on your Feet sentiment with this cutie. The length of the sentiment didn't quite go in the space I had available, so I carefully cut it down into four pieces and made it work for my layout. Love it!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great weekend!

My Head's an Achin' and My Tail's a Draggin'

Speaking of dragons, how cute is this adorable High Hopes image! This is Seymore's Sick Day and he is probably one of my FAVORITE images in the Get Well section of the website. Who can resist an adorable dragon?

The fun part about this stamp is picking out your favorite dragon color combos. This guy was my first attempt and he's quite bright! He works well, but my second attempt used a lighter, more yellow/green combination. I'll share that with you in an upcoming post.

Would Seymore look good in a fantastical purple/pink combo? Maybe I'll try that next...

Sentiment on this beauty is Open Get Well Soon.

Well Wishes

Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Welcome back to the One Crazy Stamper blog! I'm here today with some more inspiration for you, using the High Hopes Rubber Stamps Wishing Well.

This is a great, versatile image. I've used it for a get well card today, pairing it with the Get Well Wishes Script sentiment. However, this image can easily be used for thinking of you and for sending out general "well wishes".

I dug into my selection of paper flowers to pretty this up layout up. I love how the colors blend well together and compliment the vines on my well.
