Spring Birds in Summer!

Hello OCS Fans!

First off..... Happy 4th of July to all our American friends! Today I am sharing with you a adorable card I made using the Your Next Stamp stamp set called Spring Birds. I am in love with this super cute stamp set and the best thing is that they have a matching Spring Birds Die set! I love matching die sets as it really helps make your cut outs look professional!
I decided to challenge myself and not use any design patterned papers! So instead I got out my "Elegant Boquet" embossing folder and Cuttlebug and embossed it onto some blue cardstock. Then I stamped, coloured and cut out my images with the die set. The branches are glued directly onto the paper but all the birds and the cage are popped up with dimensional squares. I stamped the Tweet, Tweet and musical notes onto the front. I added some enamel dots, some Frosted Lace Stickles and voilá the card is complete!
The inside of the card uses more of the birds and the sentiments from the stamp set.
Copics Used:
Birds: R21, R22, R24
Yellow: Y15, Y19
Branches: E31, E35
Leaves: YG41, YG45
Cage: R22, R24, B000, Gold Wink of Stella

Since July is here, OCS is back with a new challenge "Anything Goes".  You can use any stamp except for digital images.  You have all month to join in the fun for a chance to win 2 High Hopes Rubber Stamps from One Crazy Stamper just for playing in our Blog Challenge.

I hope you'll play along with us! Have a great weekend!
Happy Crafting!

  1. Cheri, this is SO sweet! I love this stamp set - I see tons of possibilities with this one. Nice job with not using patterned paper (I'd struggle with that one!) :o)
