Little Mummy

Halloween is quickly approaching - soon the little ghosts and goblins will be out trick or treating and my card today is perfect for the season.

This is "Mummy" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps that I colored with Copics.  The card front is black card stock that I ran through my Cuttlebug to get the pumpkin embossing, which I then highlighted with orange and green Viva Decor Inka Golds.  After wrapping the card front with some bits of torn cheesecloth, I mounted the fussy cut image and a sentiment from High Hopes stamps to finish it off.

Copics used - C1, C3, C5, E00, E01, E11, YR04, YR09, E25, B24, RV32, Colorless Blender

Just to Let You Know.....

I probably shouldn't tell you this but I almost forgot to post a card for today.  Blame it on school!!  I spent the entire day at student orientation in downtown Calgary, learning all the ins and outs for the course I am starting next week, and by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was relax, so................ it is now 11pm my time and I just remembered to do this post.

This sweet image is another fabulous image from Stamping Bella featuring Petunia the pig and new chick friends - Nice to See You Petunia available here.  And before you ask, yes the u is missing from the sentiment because you are missing "U".  The image was colored with Copics, then fussy cut and put on a background that I created with some Copic Various Ink refills and Colorless Blender solution.  The glasses that the animals are all wearing received a coat of Judikins Diamond Glaze to replicate the look of real glass.

Card Recipe
Petunia - E01, E11, E21, D97
Chicks - Y11, Y15, Y17
Beak/Feet - YR16

I Like.....

Today is often referred to as Throwback Thursday, so as a salute to that, my card today is not a throwback card, but the subject is definitely from another decade - welcome to Throwback Thursday 80's style.

This sweet image is Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Farrah Loves Flashdance available here.  I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, added Judikins Diamond Glaze to her bubble, Wink of Stella silver accents on the stereo, and randomly drew lines around the entire image with a Sakura Clear Star pen.  After cutting the image and surrounding mat with a Spellbinder die, the image was then mounted on older Fancy Pants paper.  The musical notes were cut with Memory Box dies, and the sentiment is included with the image.

Teacher's Rule

The challenge this month here at One Crazy Stamper is Anything Goes plus an embellishment, which is really easy - just add ribbon, flowers, etc, or in my case for today's post, I have added ribbon and a charm!

The image is a gorgeous stamp from Stamping Bella entitled Uptown Girls - Tessie the Teacher that I have colored with Copics, then added metallic silver details on the globe, and Judikins Diamond Glaze on the lenses of the glasses. The abc, 123 border is a Martha Stewart punch, the ribbon and charm came from a local big box craft store, and the sentiment is from an older MFT stamp set. The dp is from Pink Paislee's Old School collection.

Just BEE-cause!

One full week into the new year, and I hope everyone had a great holiday season and are ready to get to creating wonderful projects. For this week's Terrific Tuesday post for One Crazy Stamper I have a super cute card!

My card features an image and sentiment from YOUR NEXT STAMP Critter Crew Set Three. I stamped the bee on Copic X-press It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with my Copic sketch markers, then added Judikins Diamond Glaze to the eyes, and Stardust Stickles to the wings for added dimension. After fussy cutting the image I matted it with black cardstock and popped it up on the card front with pop dots. The card front and interior feature dp from Bo Bunny's Zip-a-dee-doodle collection. The bee's flight path was created with a black Viva Decor Pearl Pen, while the border was created by embossing a strip of black cardstock, and then highlighting the design with the jade Viva Decor Inka Gold.

Another little Geek!

Welcome back to my Tuesday post here at One Crazy Stamper, and this week I am once again featuring a geek, but unlike the boy computer geek that I featured a couple of weeks ago, this time I have a geekie girl!

This sweet little study girl is "Geekin It" by Saturated Canary stamps, that I have colored only with the E family of Copics ( okay the glasses are colored with B0000, but that's the only non E color ). The glasses and the apple are coated with Judikins Diamond Glaze. All of the layers of mats of cardstock and designer paper are machine stitched, then inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink, and the ribbon and chalk board are from my stash.
There is still lots of time to enter to win a fabulous set of stamps from One Crazy Stamper, just by entering your Anything Goes project in this month's challenge.  Just click on the icon at the top of this blog to get all of the details.

Nerds Unite!!!!

Wow, where did the month of February go? It seems like only yesterday that the theme for February's One Crazy Stamper challenge was announced, and now you only have two days left to enter to win a fabulous prize by entering your Love themed project.

My card for today features "Computer Nerd" from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January release. The image is colored with Copics to match the dp from My Mind's Eye Oliver collection, and the sentiment is included with the stamp. The glasses were highlighted by adding a stroke of Sakura's White Glaze pen, and then covering the entire lens area with Judikins Diamond Glaze. The metal embellishments are from my stash.
Don't forget that you only have a couple of days left to enter the challenge theme of Love, here at One Crazy Stamper!!!
