Hugs to Cheer You!

A few months ago, I set a personal challenge to try and use a different technique or medium every week. Well it started out well, but kinda went by the wayside lately.

For today's card, I used a Flowered Circle Luxury Cardlayer top that was in my stash. I used these a few years ago. Violet and Green Sulky Thread was used to do the stitching.

After stamping the Pretty Gladiolas (TT110) stamp from High Hopes Stamps, I coloured it using Derwent Inktense Pencils.  Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops were added to the gladiolas.

Supplies used:

• Stamps:  Pretty Gladiolas, Hugs to Cheer You! (High Hopes Stamps)
• Ink:  Staz on Jet Black
• Paper:  Strathmore Watercolor Paper; DP - Watercolor Washes (Lawn Fawn)
• Derwent Inktense Pencils:  081 - Light Violet, 080 - Violet, 047 - May Green, 048 - Emerald Green
• Nuvo Crystal Drops: Morning Dew
• Doodey Luxury Cardlayers - Flowered Circle 1
• Sulky Thread: Violet, Green
• Embellishments: Miscellaneous Pearls
